All About Floors

After going to all about floors, I will never be purchasing flooring at a giant retailer again. The selection is amazing. You are guided to the correct flooring for the job. The staff keeps in touch with you every step of the way. Once the job was done, I have amazing beautiful flooring. I’m getting so many compliments. I have the utmost confidence that if I refer Brian and his staff they will do just as great of a job that they did on my floor!

Buyer Beware– wanted to warn you all about an experience I had with All About Floors in Bethpage. I called them on Friday for an estimate for linoleum for my son’s room. They came, measured and quoted me a rather inexpensive price. I gave them a cash deposit and they said they could install on Monday and that all I would have to do is empty his dresser. They could move his furniture around as they installed the flooring. I explained how no one was available in my home until after 12:30 during the week and they said not a problem they would be here on Monday shortly after 12:30 but would call on Sunday to confirm the time.
Sunday came — no call. I called Monday and was told they would be there 2:30/3. At 3 they called and said that the installer got stuck at a job and would be unable to come but they would be there first thing Tuesday (Today). I explained that again no one is available until after 12:30 and I expressed my displeasure as my son’s room is now all a mess. They assured me that they would be here today by 2:30.
Today at 2:30 again they called and said they were running a little late but the installer would be there by 3:30/4. At 4:00 I called again — the woman who answered the phone said she couldn’t get ahold of either the installer or the owner and she was equally as frustrated as me. At 4:40 the installer finally showed up at my house and was rude to my nanny. Complained to her that the furniture was too heavy to move. My nanny called me and put him on the phone. I asked where he had been that he was supposed to be at my house at 3:30pm. He sneered and said «I’ve been working lady.» I asked him if he could install the flooring and get the room back in order by 7pm and his response was «no freikin way». I told him to get out of my house. Before he left, he ripped up some of the carpet and left it, with the sharp staples facing up in my son’s room.
I called the owner to complain and his response was that everyone has a bad day and then tried to tell me that my floor was uneven and the linoleum wouldn’t work and I would either have to put in a new floor or a hypoallergenic plastic carpet.
Bottom line — All About Floors in Bethpage is unprofessional, rude and dishonest– DONT USE THEM!

If you want to buy your carpet or flooring from a business that does quality work and stands by its products, this is absolutely the place to go! We have had 3 rug/​floor jobs done by All About Floors within the last 5 years. All were great from the shopping/​selection process to the installations. Recently, a small area of rug wore unevenly and unexpectedly. The manufacturer would not help in any way, but Brian at All About Floors took care of it and had that section of rug replaced with no charge to us. What a rarity these days for a business to put its customers first and stand behind their workmanship and products 100%!! In fact we live 30 miles away from the store and they came out to take care of this for us– we would gladly shop there again anytime we need carpeting or flooring. Brian is the best!!! You will NOT be disappointed with All About Floors.
