Extended Stay America – Long Island – Bethpage

The exstended stay hotel is a very nice and clean hotel. Each room has a kitchenette with a stove top and full size refrigerator and microwave. The only thing the maids dont come every day to clean the room or make up the bed. You have to bring ur old linean down to the front desk and get new ones. The brakfest is horrible and theres not alot of channels on the tv. Downstairs in the lobby there is a laundry room which is good and its a pet friendly hotel and there is no minimum stay.

Front desk staff are very pleasing and courteous. Rooms are clean and spacious and excellent location for most businesses around the area. If you like Indian cuisine you’re near one of the best Indian hubs on the island. Overall, I would stay here again!

Been here a few times. No problems, except I wish there were more channels on the television. Staff is always friendly and the kitchen is such a great bonus.

Never!!! Never stay here. It’s disgusting and they have rude and non existent customer service. Please stay away.

This was not my first time staying at this hotel with my family. The staff was nice and professional. However, the room we stayed in (non-​smoking) smelled of cigarette smoke. There was this old guy who I believed worked there, appeared like a creep. The previous time we stayed there we had a better experience (smh).fair price. but we’ll be looking for another hotel.

For the price, this place was functional!
It was cheap and clean.
The kitchenette is perfect scale, it was so useful with our kids.
Yes it’s dated, they lost another star because one of the pillows in our room smelled.
We would be happy to come back here. But would go to another hotel if the price point was close.

these people are awful. i cancelled my reservation and they did not refund me. the manager will not call me back and i am going to report them to the BBB

I’m gonna be fair here and not try to judge this (I don’t know what to call it…) motel/​hotel as what I wish it would be… Its wasn’t the 17^th floor suite at the Radisson in Coconut Grove, and not close to Residence Inn… Two totally different places that are decent… Considering the fact that I checked in here at 2am, I was happy with how helpful and pleasant Maira was while taking my info. Even when the creepy guy came to the desk to ask for more towels (@2 freakin am), she didn’t give him the look as if he was some sort of early morning perv like I did…
The overall appearance of this hotel was bright and extremely clean, comfortable, and quiet… The room had plenty of space, clean, and most importantly had a USB port on the tv which I used to charge my phone since I didn’t bring a wall plug for it… Its just an overnight stay, so there’s no need to be overly critical… If I could change anything here, it would be the heating/​ac system. You can’t control it, while it is set a comfortable temp… What’s comfortable for me might not be for someone else… Also, even though the temp was comfortable, I didn’t care for the air going on and off while I was sleeping. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed someplace where the heating/​ac didn’t have a control in the room.
Still, not a bad nights rest…

This place is gross! The outside is decent and the lobby is updates. The halls smell like smoke and it trickles into the room. It seems pretty unclean and our bathtub drain is messed up. I’m sure it will backup when I take a shower. There is no shampoo in our room either and only 1 bar of soap. So much for clean hands. The floor is also uneven which makes it fun to walk around. I would not recommand staying here!

Not the best choice for travel accommodations. All the rooms are studios with kitchenettes, like a hokey timeshare. Convenient coin-​op laundry room and vending machines are nice, and my buddy got a bag of Skittles, but they must have been in there for a while because they were fused into one Skittle cluster. The gal who checked me in was pleasant, but that’s pretty much where it ends.
Apparently it’s a relatively new place, but you’d think otherwise from the weird smells down the hallways and the sketchy rooms with dim lamps and grungy carpet.
I didn’t realize the showerhead in my room was busted until I saw the pool of water on the floor and almost into the hallway. Apparently another stream was shooting over the shower curtain.
I split a case of beer with a friend to throw in the fridge and enjoy after a long day of work. I felt bad when he came home later that evening to warm beers. Fridge fail.
I’m still skeptical, but another coworker checked into a room with some sketchy bedsheets. Maybe they were drops of nail polish or possibly blood stains, but we should of brought the CSI crime lab kit to reveal the truth.
Yeah, I’m a princess. So what? I am elated that we switched hotels because I’m still counting and scratching the insect bites on my legs from either fleas or bedbugs. Eww gross.

I reserved a suite on the second floor. It was nice to have a large suite because I stayed there with my wife and two kids.
The room was big and comfortable but not too clean. The counters, chairs, shelves and tables were unclean. The bathroom was clean but there was a stain on the wall under the sink, which we didn’t know if it was excrement or blood.
I requested the shelves to be cleaned and the wall stain too at the front desk. The shelves were cleaned but not too well and the wall stain was not cleaned.
The hotel overall did not smell very good. I think the fact that the rooms have kitchens doesn’t help but management can do a better job about the smell, which they didn’t. Our room had a smell to it too (we didn’t cook) and smoke would come in from the outside through the heating system. This was because the heating or vent machine was directly above an outside ashtray they had by their front entrance. Our room was right above their front entrance and some people chose to smoke outside the hotel’s front door.
I asked the front desk to move the ashtray and they did. No more cigarette smoke came into the room.
Some of the bedsheets were very worn and old. We requested two new blankets from the front desk to replace the one in the King size bed, which was old and my wife said «dirty» and another one for the sofa bed. The one we got for the King bed was OK but the other one, even though it had just been washed, smelled of a combination of soap, sweat and cigarette smoke. It was also quite old.
We requested another blanket and we got one that didn’t smell bad.
The price for the room we paid was not bad about $ 430 for 3 nights after a 5% discount. Bethpage is a nice area.
I do recommend the suite to any family but take some wipes with you and an all purpose cleaner. A scented candle might help too and hopefully management will work on the overall smell of the place and their cleaning.
