The problem with this library is, that they don’t have any video games or cd’s. My teenage son loves to rent out video games, so we have to go all the way over to the Moline one. Also, I don’t think the soups are as good as the Moline one either. Moline has the best cream of tomato with gouda cheese soup & I’ve never seen it before at this one. I ordered ham & bean at this library one day & it was awful. The beans were not cooked & there was no ham in it, but they put a lot of corn in it. Who puts corn in ham & bean soup? And who would leave the ham out in it as well? Yuck!!!

This has got to be one of the nicest libraries a small town ever could dream of. There’s a coffee shop inside as well! The selection is good, and the high-tech check in/check out system is pretty impressive! I don’t know how old the place is, but it feels like it was just opened and beautiful and shiny and welcoming. The offerings are great, and there is an extensive offering in many different categories of books/movies/audio… you really could spend a good deal of time surveying the inventory! The large parking lot shares usage by the neighboring children’s museum, which is a nice place to spend some time with your children in conjunction to a trip to the library. It’s really gratifying to see such a beautiful library in what otherwise would have seemed like a pretty small town.
