I’m not sure why the address for this is showing Beverly Hills, but this review is for As You Like It Catering, owned by Betty Fraser and Denise DeCarlo, who also own and operate the restaurant Grub, in Hollywood. I have been a huge fan of Betty & Denise and Grub for over 13 years, so when I started planning my wedding it was a no-brainer to hire them to do the catering. We decided to have a brunch wedding, as I just love the brunch food at Grub. They did not disappoint! The food was amazing, but the service was even better. They were so friendly and accommodating to all of our guests, serving the food and explaining what everything was. They really made a great impression and we received so many compliments on the food! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We had a retirement party for 100 people and Betty and her group came in and did a wonderful job. They served the best appetizers(too many to mention) and were very professional with the crowd. You know how doctors can be. They did such a great job preparing in the background(out of sight) and then arranging tables and serving in style. I remember Libby wowing the crowd with some of her creations. Glad that by word-of-mouth we found this company. We will definitely call them for our next event. Now I want to try the restaurant!

When I was asked to plan the Holiday Party for my networking group, I was referred to Betty Fraser of Grub and Bravo’s Top Chef. She and her partner, Denise Decarlo, in addition to Grub, own this wonderful catering company. I was pretty nonspecific about the menu. I said I wanted«hearty appetizers» and that I love any sort of seared ahi dish… but that was it. The menu Betty created from there was creative and unspeakably delicious. We had: Seared ahi on wonton crisps, baby white truffle burgers, white gazpacho with macadamia nuts, quesadillas diablos, lemon rosemary chicken drumettes, roasted vegetable pizza, open faced charcuterie sandwiches on French baguette with prosciutto, oven roasted grape tomatoes, sage aioli and caramelized onions, and for dessert, profiteroles. Everything was phenomenal, but the favorite of the bunch was the baby white truffle burgers. Even a fitness coach at the party commented that he couldn’t stop eating them! There was also so much food, everyone gorged themselves, and there were still leftovers! The best part is, I ended up looking good because the food was so good! Now that’s worth every penny! ;)
