If there was possibility of putting –100 stars I would do that! Awful customer service! Very rude and unhelpful! They should be all fired! They spoil the impression of the whole brand. Uneducated clerks, they have no idea about customer service jobs!

The reasons you should shop in-store at Badgley Mischka instead of buying online: 1. You hate options, so you prefer stores that have empty racks and one shoe on display. 2. You have a magnetic draw to lazy sales associates. 3. You have a gun held to your head. The reasons you should shop at 1. Everything else.

Extremely rude older lady pounding on glass as we walk past her precious store. How rude… we were just looking at the flowers outside their store front and were attacked from within by their rude customer service workers. I would never go into this store.

Sad but true I have to agree with other reviewers. My mother saw a dress in the window that she thought would flatter my figure and dragged me in to buy it as a present. The staff couldn’t be bothered. We walked out empty handed(and I mean no invoice for a fitted version to retrieve later for me to wear to a holiday party). Crazy to me how store clerks can do so much to ruin a business someone else worked so hard to build. That’s the only reason I didn’t leave one star. I know how hard it is to find good employees to work for you. Hint. Yours suck.

Terrible customer service. There were two sales people lounging around and chit chatting in the empty store. They refused to provide any customer service. They stopped their conversation to speak to us once, only to bark«Do not touch»(note to owner, a sign would cost less). My «Oprah in Switzerland» moment. Thanks to other reviewers for commiserating… and the humor(#Daniela L.)

I love this store, I love its staff, I love Badgley Mischka couture. There is a sales girl here, Sloane, she is just lovely. She emails me just to say hello and see how I am doing sosmetimes. So, all the negative reviews — I am not sure what that is all about. But if you SIT on a $ 4,000 scarf — I can see how the sales people might get a little upset…

I had a two great experiences at Badgley Mischka. After many days and hours spent shopping for a gala dress, I stopped in, even though I suspected the dresses were out of my price range. I was surprised and pleased to learn that the beautiful gowns covered a wide range of prices. Yes, there are $ 10,000 gowns there, but there are also $ 800 dresses as well. They had some things that were prettier than anything I had tried at Barneys or Saks. Genie helped me select earrings and a bag to match my beaded dress. The tailoring was a bit pricey, but perfect. When I had another gala to attend a few weeks later, I called Genie to ask about a different dress I had tried on. My size had been sold, as had the earrings that went perfectly with the green gown. Genie located the dress and the earrings and had them shipped to my home. Everything arrived earlier than she predicted, and I had plenty of time to shop for shoes and a bag on my own. Genie sent me a lovely thank you note and even followed up with a sweet phone call to ask how everything turned out. I came across the other poor reviews on this website when I googled Badgley Mischka to get their phone number. I don’t really know what to make of those reviews. I had such a great experience, I felt I really needed to write a review to provide some balance. I will tell my friends to ask for Genie by name when they visit the store.

The staff at Badgley Mischka are the rudest I’ve seen. My girlfriend was willing and able to drop several thousands of dollars on a second wedding dress for reception-but during her appointment she was met with comments about her weight, and 2 employees that seemed to be actively trying try complicate what should be a beautiful, happy, exciting and memorable process; picking out a wedding dress. The staff at one point even quoted different prices(fees) to have a dress brought in to be tried on. one saying $ 200 the other $ 300, small mistake but conjoined with the rest of the experiences, indecorous. When my friend asked if there was a look book, «yes» was the response. we then sat silently for a moment as the women waiting on us stood scowling, no intention of actually retrieving said book or making any strides to be helpful at all really; bride then said«well may I see it please» the staff then said ‘i mean, why? there isnt really a point.” Eventually, and reluctantly the woman gave the look book for us to glance at, to see if we wanted to order a dress they didnt have in stock. Later we noticed a white evening gown in the downstairs section and immediately knew it was a possible candidate for«the dress,» we asked to look at it. We were met with excuses again, my friend is a size 6 on a bad day but was told she was far too big to fit into a dress like that. They were not even willing to entertain the idea and were reluctant to give any information at all actually. There was an older woman who was introduced to us as the head of bridal there, she was slightly more welcoming to us both but only barely(her accent I think let her get away with a few things, perhaps under the guise of her not being aware of social graces and cultural courtesies) however the younger one was abhorrent and has little business working with people, much less retail, and even lesser bridal. This is supposed to be an exciting time, gown shopping is supposed to make the bride feel beautiful, excited, special. They, regrettably, left her feeling unattractive, unenthused, insignificant and inadequate. They can expect my friend will be calling corporate this week to have a chat. When someone is willing to spend thousands of dollars with a designer(we were thinking of doing the bridesmaid dresses there too!) the last thing you would expect to have to do is coax the staff to be helpful and do their job.

Oh my GOD!!! I wish I knew about Unilocal before going in this store. Im from Mexico City and I just moved to L.A. cause Im getting married soon(well, religious wedding, I already had a civil wedding). Three months ago my very conservative parents traveled to California to drop me off into my new life and to do a little bit of shopping. My mom for some reason decided to look for the dress she’ll wear to my religious wedding at this freaking store, and I regret even looking inside. It was kind of a family tour since my parents, siblings and mother in law were in town, so everyone went in the store. Of course you can imagine their faces when they heard a bunch of spanish speaker women in their store and FROMMEXICO??. We all started looking at the dresses and picking them off the rack since we were really looking for night gown. The sales women went crazy trying to take every dress off our hands every time we dared to touch one. It got even better when my innocent fiancé sat on the couch on top of a 4,000 horrible shawl which we couldnt understand why was on the freaking couch in first place. We thought it was a throw on blanket! Of course the woman wanted to kill my poor guy but she just say in a very deep tone«Please don’t sit on top of this».(Thank god my fiancé’s mind was somewhere else that day cause he would have snapped) There were so many things going on that no one really spoke up and said LET’S GETOUTOFHERE so my mom started trying on dresses. The freaking woman wanted to die every time my mom touched the dress she was trying on. It really bothered me but for some reason i didn’t say anything, not even when I leaned on the wall waiting for my mom to came out of the dressing room and the woman asked me to please move cause they had just painted the walls which I really doubted; she was just rude. I hate to say this but my mom ended up buying a very expensive dress and even then the woman there wouldnt let her touch it. I have to say that one of them was nice and was the one helping my mom, but the other one with an accent was very rude and not client welcoming if that makes sense in english. My mom looked gorgeous in the dress but she wanted the bottom trimmed because even when she’s very tall she doesn’t wear very high hills so it was a little bit long on her; well the woman didn’t want to do it without the shoes so my mom had to look for the shoes very fast before leaving(I think if its your dress already it is your responsability) and on top of that they didnt mention the alterations were almost 200 dlls on top of the final price. I don’t know but in other stores if you buy a dress that price they’ll remake the dress if you want to. I seriously would never complain this much, but if you ever wanna get a Badgley Mischka dress go to Saks or somewhere else cause you’ll only have a bad experience here. It sucked and it pisses me off that we ended up purchasing there. Oh and a little gift for the end, when I picked up the dress like 3 weeks later, the woman with the accent told me I wasn’t carrying it properly!!! DUDETHEDRESSISMINE! WTF? I felt like shoving the dress in a shopping bag in front of her!!! though my mom would have kiledl me! I don’t know if this whole story is properly written(and I apologize if its not) but I would recommend everyone to avoid this store and if you are ever treated like that LEAVE! no matter how fancy or expensive or snobby the place is; they are the ones loosing a client and you wont regret it.
