Horrible service here! I had work lunch with a friend here twice only because it was the closest place to where we were at the time. The waitress take forever to take your order and don’t check in on you after you ordered! The food took way too long to arrive and the place was empty! My friend called someones Attention about her shrimp not being cleaned and they simply removed it! No offer to comp the meal. I would never eat here again. Try the italian place up the street!

We just had lunch here with my mom, cousin and aunt and of course my baby. Very cute out door dinning area. Indoor area was very plain and if I dine here again id only sit outside. Food: I ordered the grilled salmon. Comes with a big piece of salmon and asparagus and string beans. Very tasty. I had the sauce on the side and didn’t even need to put any on my fish. The waiter said it was wild caught but the menu didn’t so I have my doubts because if it was they would advertise it. I had a slice of my cousins mushroom pizza(she added extra goat cheese). It was delicious! (A small slice… don’t judge me)(my only carb before 5pm. trying to loose that pregnancy weight)(tmi I know) Service: warm, hospitable and accommodating. They were super sweet with my baby. A little on the slow side but we weren’t in a hurry so it didn’t matter.(But for that I’m dinging a star) Overall chill spot with pretty patrons. Worth checking out if you’re in the area.

It is always fun at caffe Roma. located in the heart of Beverly Hills. I have been here several times for lunch or Happy Hour. Other than being conveniently located across the street of my office, the staff is always friendly and accommodating. During the summer it is really relaxing and fun to eat on the terrace and people watch. I have had several dishes at this location. Some of my favorites are the authentic Italian pizza, meatballs and there delicious martinis. You cant go wrong at this restaurant.

This place is completely overpriced. I got the lobster which was not good. It was cold and hard. The service is pretty good and friendly. I have to say the best part of dinner were the appetizers. The fried calamari and meatballs were good. The pizzas were also very decent. Overall not worth the price. Will not come back!

Went there for happy hour so this review is for happy hour experience only. Although food selection was decent, service was horrible. We had to wait 30 min for drinks and they screwed up several of our drinks when it’s not busy that night. Worse part is when we talk to a manager about the issue he didn’t seem to care about the feedback at all. Bottom line — save yourself time and money and go somewhere else.

Bad Bad business!!! I give this place ZEROSTAR!!! Went with my girlfriends last night. The waitress was so incompetent, she charged us double the bill! We asked her to refund our money and charge us correctly. Today, we found out she did not refund our money, plus charged us extra!!! I called, the manger was sooo rude to me and said he was not refunding our money back because we were listening to free music!!! Is this the way they handle their business??? I would give this place 0 stars if it were an option. Over the weekend, it was me and my boyfriends second attempt at this place(the first time was about a year ago and we got no service after waiting for a while). I like to give places second chances. We made a reservation at 9pm on Saturday night and arrived a few minutes early. The hostess seated us. No one even handed us menus to look at while we were waiting to be greeted. No one brought us waters to start with: nothing. We waited until 9:15 and no server had ever came to our table. I was fed up, so we left. When we walked out, nothing was said. It’s like we were invisible to the employees there. (My boyfriend and I are in our early 20s, so that could be the only reason I could think of why we were ignored. Maybe they assumed we didn’t have enough money compared to others in the Beverly Hills area?) Completely rude. I would not give this place a third chance. Don’t even waste your time here. We went to il pastaio down the street. The food is always good there.

The food was good but i think a little bit too pricey. I ate salad(the dressing was made of olive oil and balsamico that’s it) i had to add salt and pepper! And the pizza was good but nothing special! The service was ok. The lady who was serving us seemed really bored. After that we had a drink at the bar. I had so much fun watching all those old people dance(the only reason why i didnt left earlier) the drinks were good. Music was ok at the beginning but after a while they started to play iranian and turkish songs lol that was kind of weird.

I really enjoyed this place! Came here for happy hour with my coworkers. Prices were so reasonable, $ 6 – 9 for drinks and appetizers like gnocchi, bruschetta, macaroni, flatbread, carpaccio. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and lots of space in both areas. They even opened up the«walls» which were glass so it was like indoor AND outdoor. So cute. Parking at meters on the street or there’s a public lot across the street for $ 6. Happy Hour is also 3−8pm which is longer than most! lol we’ll probably come back!

This was kind of a strange experience. My review is for their«club» which apparently this place turns into late at night, or we just happened to stumble upon some kind of Ukrainian celebration. After we had dinner at a nearby restaurant, my husband and I decided to have a couple of drinks before retiring to our hotel for the night. We arrived around 10 pm and were told we could sit wherever we’d like. We chose the patio area as it was a nice night out. The place quickly filled up and it turned into a lounge/club. I am not sure if they promote certain nights as a specific group night, but on this particular evening everyone appeared to be from the same region. They had a DJ who resembled Tommy Wiseau from The Room who was playing some type of Euro music. The drinks were pretty pricey, but they were also potent. The bartenders and the overall staff were very friendly and professional. We left about an hour, but it made for great people watching until it got super crowded.

Interesting mix of people. Sat at the bar and met people all the way from Serbia! This place looks half Italian and half divey. There are two menus– the bar menu and the regular dinner menu. My friends and I sat at the bar and ordered the following: — shrimp pasta– light and tasty says my friend. From the bar menu — sausage pasta — perfect proportion of chopped sausage to pasta $ 8 from the bar menu — beet salad why watercress– yummy! $ 15 from the regular dinner menu Prices off the bar menu are pretty good. Portions are a little smaller but enough if you split an appetizer too. Great indoor/outdoor blend. Not a shi-shi place like you’d find in the rest of BH, so you might find the occasional out of work actor…

I was sitting and waiting at the bar for 15 – 20 minutes, 2 people came over who weren’t the bartender, asking if I want something?!-well, I guess, that’s why I am sitting at the bar. Another 10 minutes gone by without a bartender or host or manager checked back! I mean, I know it’s a Sunday night but then close the damn bar and say table service only or whatever you do just don’t make people waiting half an hour at an empty bar! I love this place and I come here a lot. I was a «little» disappointed that night. Best regards!

One of the best places in town. Caffe Roma is located in the heart of Beverly Hills. If you are a person who enjoys the New York vibe then you will love this place. It has one of the best happy hour places in town. This place does get packed for happy hour. The bartenders sure know how to make great drinks. If you are a pizza lover you are in for a real treat. I highly recommend the margarita pizza or the arugula pizza. For the pasta lovers you must try the linguine MareFresh mixed seafood in light tomato sauce or the Tagliatelle Alla BologneseHomemade tagliatelle with meat ragú and Parmesan that is a must. For all the seafood lovers the salmon that is one of the best in town. If you are a tortelloni you have several ones to pick from. All the salad lovers I highly recommend the Barbabietole E CaprinoBeets, goat cheese, toasted walnuts and watercress. Also the Di SpinaciBaby spinach, cherry tomatoes, grilled bacon and dry ricotta cheese. Leave room for desert as the raspberry cheesecake is a must. For the chocolate lovers soufflé warm chocolate cake with soft center served with vanilla ice cream is so good. This is a great place to enjoy the beautiful patio or the open seating at the bar. If you are coming here with friends or a date you will enjoy yourself.

Great place to pick up a MILF… if you’re looking for a good evening. Excellent place for italian food(they have a new location in Calabasas as well, but I cannot recall the name) and even better for drinks on a Friday or Saturday evening. The joint is usually full of younger folks in their mid wenties to early thirties and dangerous, seductive MILF’s who are on the prawl. I have been coming to this place for 15 years on and off… usually after stop by Nick’s across the street. Valet parking available(of course… it’s the 90210) as street parking is hard to find unless you have a handicap placard ;)

Came here w/some friends for the Old NY Celebration, the place was pretty empty at the beginning when we got here but around 9PM but it started getting packed & the DJ was pumping good Euro music. There were tons of hot Russian & Armenian women & men here & we had a fun time. Food: Octopus Appetizer(Baby Octopus Sauteed with Fingerling Potatoes): 3.5 stars Grilled octopus was good & the greens balanced out the octopus but the serving was on the small side for the price. Pizza(Mozzarella, Tomato And Fresh Basil): 1 star This pizza had no basil what so ever on it & it came out oily & sloppy. I would not recommend this to anyone to order. This was such a lame excuse for a pizza, domino’s would have been so much better than this sad slice of pizza. Décor: Nice, warm, old world décor & great crowd for dancing when DJs playing good music. Overall, Food was decent but drinks were better because they were liberal with the alcohol. I wouldn’t eat here, I’d rather just order drinks here. Tip: HH is much more worth it. HH: 3pm — 8pm Daily SPECIALHAPPYHOURMENU&51% Off Cocktails They have DJs Friday and Saturday nights 8pm — 2am

I’ve dined in a couple of eateries in Beverly Hills but for some reason had never encountered this particular place until recently. A friend of mine who works in the area suggested that we meet up here because she said her co-workers all liked this restaurant so I agreed. We got there in time for happy hour which starts at 3:00 pm and lasts all night according to the website even though our waitress said it ended at 8:00 pm. The restaurant has various options for seating from sidewalk terraces to indoor seating. There was seating on the sidewalk between the corridors of the building where they had set up sofas and it looked really comfortable to dine in this area. We sat on the patio toward the street which was pretty nice. Our server was friendly and explained that the happy hour included 51% off on drinks up to $ 14. They also had a fairly extensive happy hour food menu as well with plates ranging between $ 5-$ 8 so we decided to order a few plates to share. For drinks, I ordered a martini called The Best($ 7) which was described as being made with bitter orange, bitter angostura, Grand Marnier, campari, Tanqueray Gin and was apparently the winner of «The best cocktail 2003» Tuscany, Italy awarded to the Caffe Roma bartender. For eats, we had: * The Polpettine — Meatballs in a tomato sauce with peas($ 6) * Spiedino Di Pollo — Chicken skewers($ 5) * Timballo Di Melanzane — Baked penne with eggplant ragu($ 6) * Maccheroni Ai Quattro Formaggi — Mac and cheese($ 6) I thought everything we had was pretty good. The Polpettine was enjoyable(4⁄5); I thought the Spiedino Di Pollo was a bit bland and on the dry side(3⁄5); The Timballo Di Melanzane actually came out a little burned on top as it was blackened and I had our server take it back and replace it with a new one which after trying it was good. Although, it too needed a bit more flavor and perhaps a little more eggplant but otherwise, it was satisfactory(3.5÷5); the Maccheroni Ai Quattro Formaggi(four cheeses) was actually my favorite and was very creamy(4.5÷5). I liked my The Best cocktail too and would order this again.(5⁄5) After a while, they had a DJ start playing music and the whole place slowly turned into a dance club with people coming in from the terraces to dance in the bar area. They played a good mix of tunes from dance to latin and we, along with everyone else, were really enjoying ourselves. I was remarking to my friend that I really liked the whole ambiance and vibe of Caffe Roma as well as the happy hour food and drinks and thought that I can consider this my somewhat new go-to place in Beverly Hills for happy hour. I thought it was a great find and will return again soon.
