Claire de Lune

This place abruptly closed for good without any advance notice at the end of 2015. Before they closed, I called them to make an appointment, but nobody answered the phone or returned my calls. It’s very unprofessional and unethical how they suddenly closed the salon without informing customers.

Very nice inside but it was weird to be the only client there on an early Saturday afternoon. I got a pedicure for $ 30 and it was a nice experience. Nothing extraordinary. The manicurist was a little too rough when massaging my calves… I thought she was going to pierce my skin!

Not sure why this salon has only two dollar signs for pricing. The gel manicure is $ 55 and a regular pedicure is $ 35. That’s $ 100 with tip. They were quite proud of the pricing also in an empty salon. Cross the street for better pricing at nailtica !

Over priced for the quality of work. I don’t like writing bad reviews, but I paid double what I normally pay at this Nail salon, and two days later my gel nails started to chip. The top layer is almost all gone. I don’t think I’ll go back to this place again. The staff are very nice and friendly, but my nails didn’t last as long as I had hoped.

Liana has been my esthetician for over 2 years and I gladly made the move to follow her to this new workplace of hers. She is extremely professional, and has a very nice personality as well. When I first started coming to her, I had severe acne problems and she has completely cured me of my issues. I now continue to go to her for her anti-​age treatments, which also include a deeply relaxed massage and I will recommend that treatment to everybody as this anti-​age treatment is the best of the best. You don’t only enjoy and relax during the entire procedure, but you also leave with an ideal face that literally shines. Liana is the best!

I’ve been looking around to find a good spa, where I can relax and enjoy pampering myself. I have found just that place and it’s called Claire de Lune. I absolutely love the services they offer. My stylist Catharine did an amazing job from the beginning till the end. She welcomed me inside, made me feel right at home, informed me of the services they offer. I must say a big plus was the fact that Catherine made sure I was well taken care of and I did not have to just sit there waiting. She understands that it takes to make her customers happy. She helped me select a new look that I am completely in love with. Everything from the treatment she did to the haircut and the blow dry was just superb. I have already recommended her to my friends and will continue to come back. I am truly happy with the work this spa offers and my husband seemed to love it just as well. I will definitely come back and take advantage of the specials they are offering. Highly recommended that you all do the same :)

Doctor Liana Muradova is the best dermatologist I know. I have had problematic skin since I was 13. Before I started going to Doctor Liana I had horrible acne and acne scaring. I tried every medication and visited with every dermatologist in Glendale and I was not seeing results. Since I have been going to Doctor Liana, my skin has completely changed. I no longer get break outs or pimples and my scars fade more and more every day. I am so thankful to have found her because without her I would still be struggling with acne. Aside from being great at what she does, she is a very sweet woman who makes you feel comfortable in her presence. I recommend her to everyone because she is truly a miracle worker.

Liana is the best beauty therapist I’ve ever been to. I could as soon as you started my treatment that you were very experienced Estetician with outstanding skills in beauty therapy. My skin is glowing! Literally! Can’t wait for the next treatment!!! Thank you!

Just had a really sad time here. My wedding is on Saturday and I let my manicurist know before we got started. Next thing you know, she cut my nails extremely short — and started filing them square when the nails that I walked in with were long and round. I wish we talked it through before she made this executive decision.
Internally I was very very disappointed– and I think it showed externally because she asked me if I was sad about my short nails to which I replied yes. To add insult to injury, when I got to the counter to pay, it cost me $ 90. For this traumatic sub-​optimal wedding manicure and a standard pedicure.
I wish someone at the salon would have at least offered me some type of discount for messing up my nails right before my wedding — but no dice. Nice to also know there is a Unilocal check-​in discount after the fact. Thanks for ruining my nails and my mood today.

First off I would like to say that me and my mother have followed their dermatologist-​esthetician Liana from when she worked at Beyond Beauty, and at Atelier SAV both located in Glendale. We are dedicated and loyal customers of hers and now that she’s switched over to this beautiful salon, we have decided to follow her here as well.
Secondly, I’d like to mention how professional she is and how I have recommended her to everybody I know. My skin has been glowing since I’ve been coming to her, and everybody always comments on that. Liana is very friendly, but very professional at the same time. She’s from Denmark, but she’s a Russian lady. So she’s super interesting to converse with.
I will recommend everybody to go to her! She has multiple treatments that will benefit you in so many ways, and if you want your skin to look like perfection, you should definitely try visiting Liana!

Walked by because they are around the corner from my job, saw that they were having a good deal outside & on Unilocal.The deal is $ 30 for $ 50 worth of services. They have a mani/​pedi combo with paraffin wax and massage for $ 50. The pricing with the Unilocal deal was great! Definitely a good price for all the services.
Overall the service was good. The lady that did my manicure was so sweet and she did a great job. They were all very nice, offered water and everything. Very comfortable spa chairs. The ONLY reason why I’m giving 3 stars is because of the pedicure. The lady burned the bottom of my foot with the paraffin wax. You’re supposed to let it cool for a good few minutes before putting in on, but it seems she put it right away, now the bottom of my left foot is burned (as I write this I’m sitting in my office with ice on my foot). I told her «Ow, its very hot» and she just kind of stared at me and kept it on my foot… Also, the results of the pedicure are not that great. The red nail polish looks chunky and my edges were not cleaned well. I wish I could give it more stars, because the pricing of services were great, the staff was nice and my fingernails look nice, but the burn hurts and the pedicure is not that good.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere! The staff was friendly and did a great job. Laura and Gina were my technicians I highly recommend them! Would definitely go back again.

Watching Sassoon cut my hair was like watching a sculptor at work. My short hair was long overdue for a cut. As he snipped away after washing and drying my hair, a new shape gradually emerged. I was so happy with the end result. My hair looked soft and feminine, and the shape looked natural and beautiful. I was also very happy with the manicure I received. I definitely recommend a visit to Claire de Lune Spa. Enjoy!

First time i’ve been here i made manicure. I’m manicurist but I was traveling without my stuff. I was really surprised about my new nails: they were made so professional. (because usually I don’t like how masters do my nails in USA). So I definitely recommend this salon. Really hight quality.

Got my nails, hair, & makeup done here. Nail technician was incredibly skilled & patient, the hair dresser was very attentive, and the makeup artist worked quickly while still paying close attention to details. Very happy with my experience and love how clean the spot is, great location too!

It was so nice to find a place that got my hair just right. I am definitely coming back!!!

Liana is the best dermatologist in the USA!
I’ve moved in LA from Russia about 6 years ago and I was struggling to find a good facial place. I’ve tried a lot of places, but the quality of services was never on the level I used to have in Russia and Europe. The moment I met Liana I realized I’m in good hands. She’s the only person in U.S. I trust to touch my face. All her cosmetics comes from various spots all over the world. She only chooses the best brands and she customized approach for every skin type. My face never looked better.
P. S. You should tried her home-​made pimple cream! Put it on the problem spot at night and in the morning it’ll be gone!
