Dr. New Me

First off, my very first appt was canceled one hour before my actual appt time. On the actual appt day, I was made to wait 50 minutes. No explanation. Just a very brief «sorry for the wait» and that was it. That said, the staff including the doctor were very nice and friendly… I’ll give them that. I’m going to reserve further comments until after my procedure and no, it is not surgical :)
Ok, I waited for the results and it did last a few months as expected and therefore now posting this review. I would’ve given a higher rating if it were not for the last minute cancellation and the extraordinarily long wait. If they can improve on that, then I think I can recommend them.

Most disorganized, poorly managed medical office office I’ve encountered.
I bought a coupon from KGB Deals– I was soooooo excited to get a Botox procedure at Dr. New Me. I called to make an appointment and the manager Julie said, «Oh, we don’t even know who’s on the list for coupons and if you bring in your receipt, that’s not enough, we need to see the list. .. «So I asked if I could make an appointment the following day and she said yes.
I got caught up in things and called a week later. The receptionist (who called me «Honey» four times) said, «We don’t have the list of who bought coupons and your printout isn’t enough. We can’t book you for an appointment. You’ll have to call next week.» So now I’ve been refused TWICE for an appointment I had paid well over $ 100 a week earlier. I asked to speak to a manager. She said she would have one call me back. To this day, no manager has picked up the phone and dialed my number.
Would you trust an office that’s run like this to inject needles into your body?
Here’s the great news. .. I emailed KGB Deals and they were absolutely wonderful. I was acknowledged with a cheerful return email within the hour and was informed I would receive my refund in 2 – 3 days. Well, I got that refund in two days and I’m DONE with Dr. New Me for good. Big thumbs up for KGB!
