Dr. Newman has been our family optometrist for over 10 years and we are all happy with her level of service, care and paying attention to details. She does take time to give her diagnosis and explains well in detail and one can tell that she loves what she does. Purchased my contact lenses and a pair of eye wear for a really good price and they helped me with choosing the right frame since I am very picky. The staff is also very polite and friendly.

I have been going to Dr. Newman for years, and now I take my children, too. She is extremely patient and thorough, and you really feel that she cares. My children like to go to her, too. She has given me good advice about ways to help maintain my vision in the face of a family history of deterioration which went beyond glasses, to nutrition and lifestyle management. She readily doublechecked my son’s vision when he insisted he didn’t need his glasses. The office staff is warm and personable, too. I recommend Dr. Newman and this office very highly.

Dr. Newman is simply incredible. She is kind, attentive, and well-​spoken. In my first visit she discovered a tiny cross-​eyed condition that you can’t see with the naked eye, and that no other optometrist had ever found before. My entire life I couldn’t see properly through binoculars with no idea why, and she answered it for me. Now with an updated prescription I can use binoculars, virtual reality devices, etc.
In our fast-​changing medical field with more and more requirements and regulations, it’s harder for doctors these days to spend as much quality time with their patients. Dr. Newman gives all of herself to the patient, and it has meant the world to me.

Dr Newman’s Optometry is the best. Very informative & personal care. Service is through the roof. I have finally found an optometrist I will stay with. Marisol in the front office was a breath of fresh air… Never let her go Dr… She was on top of following up and call backs which I truly appreciate.

The Mom & Pop business is alive & well in LA! (or in this case it’s Mom & mom)
Dr. Newman is a find! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable but her personable demeanor is 2nd to none. She has incredible communication skills so you don’t feel like an anonymous patient but an individual who has their own concerns with their eye sight. She has the state of the art testing & plenty of choices for eyewear. Everything from the inexpensive (& glasses can be pricey) to the expensive. She also has a knack to hire an excellent assistant who is also extremely knowledgeable, patient & thorough. These woman deserve to be given a chance to help you the world clearly!

Dr. Newman is the best optometrist there is. From when I first walked in to when I left, I was treated with extreme care. Dr. Newman is very professional and very courteous. I had an eye exam done at the office, and also ordered a pair of ray bans the same day! The office has a sense of «home» to it; everyone is so nice and friendly there that is quite pleasant. Dr. Newman got the glasses to me faster than any optometrist has ever before in my past. I will definitely be returning to Dr. Newman Optometry.

Walked in to fix the screw on my glasses, Dr Newman offered to do it for free and we came to talking and I ended up getting an exam. The doctor is real sweet and down to earth. She spend alot of time with me and even gave me some vitamins for my dry eyes. I really like the place, real friendly and good prices too.
