Homa is the queen of brows for any woman but particularly for Middle Eastern women! She knows exactly how to shape brows in a way that look best for one’s face. She is sweet and caring and listens to what the customer wants. I used to want my eyebrows thin when that was in style and she did that then. Now that I want them thicker and more natural, she shapes them perfectly. She does what the customer wants. She also does full leg and bikini waxing at a fraction of the cost of any other salon. I’ve been going to her for almost 20 years! She does an amazing job threading and waxing and has become a friend. She’s a lovely individual and one of LAs hidden gems! She also does facials!

I got Homa’s name from a friend maybe about 15 years ago and have been going to her ever since! The great thing about her(other than her amazing ability to talk and advise me about life – she is very wise) is her incredible talent! She doesn’t just shape your eyebrows into something nice but shapes your eyebrows to fit your face. I actually made the mistake of taking another friend’s advice and going to someone a little closer to home with a «famous» brow guy, only to be ripped off(monetarily and physically)– AND had to wait 45 min over my appointment time. Homa’s prices are very reasonable(SUPERREASONABLE for Beverly Hills) and she tries to accomodate last minute appointments. She is always on time, very professional and always a pleasure to see. Thank you Homa for making me beautiful! Since coming to her, I have referred many friends and they have all been more than happy. She is a gem!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I LOVEHOMA!!! She is a staple for any woman with thick, long eyebrows who wants to keep and enhance them. –MYBEAUTYBROWDILEMMA– I am Spanish. I have thick, long eyebrows. Not gross and grizzly but definitely a lot of work. Most places want try to rip thick brows out to give them«shape» but mine naturally have a shape that works for my face. My brows needed cleaning up but I had always been too scared to let someone do them as brows never really grow back as lush. –HOW I FOUNDHOMA… WORDOFMOUTH– Back in the day when Robinsons May on Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills still existed… I spotted a lady behind the cosmetics counter whose eyebrows were GORGEOUS. I approached her(Natalie) and asked if I could take a closer look.(I know… it’s sketchy to ask but they were THAT well done!) Her brows didn’t have an acute natural arch like mine do but they were thick and very well done. I asked her where she got them done and she gave me Homa’s number. –MYFIRSTVISIT… A FOREVERCLIENT— I believe I was just starting high school when I started going with her. She threaded them and, for people with deep roots such as myself, it hurt a ton. I cried then and I still tear up now. She takes about half an hour to thread my brows. Most people who have done threading think this is ridiculous and assume she takes so long because she is incompetent. ONTHECONTRARY… she takes so long because she works slowly to make sure that she doesn’t take a single hair more out of your brows than is needed. She works to enhance my features while respecting that I want to keep my brows thick. Instead of seeing thick brows as a detriment, she perfects them into a stellar asset. –EXPERIENCESTHREADINGELSEWHERE– When I moved to the East Coast for a couple of years I would fly back to LA so Homa could do my brows. As the flight expenses started adding up I figured it might be worth a try to find a threader where I was. I tried a couple of Indian Beauty parlors(as India boasts threading expertise and popularity). Everytime I walked in I would emphasize my need for«thick brows»(I know they are going to pull hairs out… but I figure if I act super paranoid about it then they’ll be more cautious. haha). I would come out looking fine… but the brow shapes were NEVER as perfect. Sometimes they would be completely different in terms of arch. And while it looked ok, I wasn’t ever happy. Also, these threaders thinned my brows out in spite of my nagging for thick brows. I think that they want a customer who can«see» that work has been done so they pull extra rows of hair out to delineate the brow more. But the problem for me here was that my brows didn’t need that. I eventually gave up and learned to trim and pluck my own brows to my own satisfaction until I moved back to LA. I appreciated Homa considerably when I found her but… after having moved away I appreciate her even more!!! –CONCLUDINGREMARKS– Homa is an artist when she works with thick brows like mine. I’m Spanish but these brows run as dominant assets in a tonnnn of other ethnicities(i.e. Persian, Arabic, Jewish, etc…). Not only is Homa excellent at her job… but she is such a nice, gentle woman. very maternal. I have seen how her other customers interact with her and it feels like we are treated in confidence and family. She treats us ALL like that regardless of our differing ethnicities(Homa herself is Persian-Jewish, but I have seen Anglo, Persian, Asian customers and well, I myself am Spanish) and regardless of our ages(I started seeing her when I was 13!!). I love Homa a ton and feel blessed to have found her! If you don’t live in the area she is definitely worth the drive. Just make sure to call and make an appointment first.

Homa offers professional hair removal by waxing, laser, and threading. She is meticulous, quick, gentle, and a sweet heart all around. The friendly chatter helps make the experience are pain free as waxing can be. I have been going to her for over 10 yrs and she never ceases to amaze me. Her prices are very reasonable and she will accommodate just about anyone. She also does Brazilian Bikini Wax and takes special request. If you are ever in the Beverly Hills area and need a quick wax… give her a call, she is great about trying to squeeze in Walk ins. She also does facials and microdermabrasion.
