Dr. King is the unusual combination of the old-​fashioned, caring doctor and new, cutting edge medical knowledge. He (and his staff) made me comfortable from the moment I called to make an appointment. I have had numerous back surgeries from another surgeon and decided to switch with the last one. The outcome was amazing. He was by my side from pre-​op to post-​op. He called during the hospital stay regularly. The follow up was outstanding. Most important, for the reason I went to him for this complicated procedure, I am pain free!
Thank you Dr. King, you are a rare treasure in the medical day and age.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. King… he is AMAZING!!!
To begin, he has a beautiful office that is not a typical doctors office. I always feel calm and not so nervous when I arrive.
Dr. King has a fantastic educational background and is very knowledgeable with the brain — especially with a rare disorder called Chiari Malformation (which I have). He answered all my questions prior to surgery and made me feel as comfortable as possible prior to my brain surgery. Once in the hospital, he visited me often and was always there to make sure I was doing ok. He has a fabulous bedside manner, always making you feel that everything is going to be ok. Even after I was discharged from the hospital, he would follow up with me to make sure I was doing ok (unlike many other doctors).
He is not all about money, he is a caring doctor who is passionate about what he does and wants to help heal his patients.
I would highly recommend Dr. King to anyone looking for a neurosurgeon, especially for rare conditions such as Chiari Malformations.
