Mail Boxes Etc

I work around the corner and even though I was in this store several years ago and at that time they were not helpful in what I wanted I thought I would try it again. I had 2 packages. One for Fed-​Ex the other package to be mailed USPS. Well, the one woman who worked there said she would not take the Fed Ex package because they already were there and she wanted to charge me $ 20.00 for this small package. I did not need it to get there in a rush but $ 20.00? She told me it was because she didn’t want to send it USPS but it was going UPS and that was the charge! The reason she would not ship it USPS was thought they just lost a package and if I wanted to have it shipped out USPS they may lose it also. WHAT? How does this business even stay open?
Never use them, ever!!!

I hate most mail stores. You usually end up waiting for someone in front of you who has more packages than Santa Claus. Luckily, this Mail Boxes is super efficient! There is never a long line and they always have at least two people working so if there is a line it moves quickly. They will ship your package anyway you like and are happy to compare rates. They take passport photos, which is great and they sell an assortment of office supplies and greeting cards. This is the place to go for your postage needs in Beverly Hills. The only downfall is the lack of parking. You’re best off parking in the lot behind the store.

I have been a long customer of this place now for about 6 years. Yes 6 years of receiving my mail here… I must say I remember when it was owned by someone else before the current people. Either way they have all been awesome with their customer service.
Anytime I had a package coming in from Europe they were always nice enough to deal with my daily calls asking if it has arrived yet or not.
Fortunately I have never received a ticket for parking in the red like Cat T. has as I have been lucky, but I have parked in the rear parking lot and it take less than 10 mins to make the walk to & from the Mail Box location… LOL
The only time that I worry about is when the place has a line for people trying to ship out packages, that can end up taking about 20 mins sometimes, when all I want is to grab some mail that didn’t fit in my box or a package to just grab and go.
Other than that I give them an A plus!

If only the Beverly Hills Police Department wasn’t so swift to give me parking tickets for parking in the red for 5 minutes…
Or maybe if I wasn’t too lazy to park in the back and walk that extra 10 minutes around the block…
