Today, I walked into numerous antique stores along Robertson Blvd from LA all the way to Beverly Hills. Many of these antique stores on Robertson have«OPEN» signs but the doors are locked. However, once you ring the door bell, someone comes to the door and they graciously let you in. Not Mo-C Antiques. I rang the bell twice even though the two owners were both there. After the 2nd ring, one of the owners nudged the 2nd owner to go to the front gate, however,(despite the big«OPEN» sign on the front door) he said to me through the gate, «by appointment only.» I wasn’t rude despite his obvious discrimination, I just walked away. This goes to show how people make assumptions based on the amount of money you have or don’t have(I was wearing a hoody and my back-pack). Clearly, they lost out on potential business and the fact that I just purchased an 18,400 sq/ft house which needs furnishing. I may not dress it… but I also don’t need to show it.

I bought a chandelier from Moe and it looks great, he has impeccable taste, and he recommended the the right piece for my house. That by it self is an art. Thank you Moe

I was recommended to mo c and his wife shala and they were the most honest and courteous individuals I have ever met in the antique business. I bought a few things and I learned that mo c’s taste is definitely better than mine. The man knows his stuff when it comes to antiques.

Amazing, high-end antiques. The general price range is high, but I suppose it’s a reflection of the area. The couple who own the store are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and really go the extra mile to get you exactly what you want– that alone deserves five stars. They have an extensive collection of antiques, but they’ve sought out special pieces my family has requested. If you’re looking for some incredible pieces, look no further.
