Sweet ladies with a wide variety of yarn, needles and knitting classes. They had exactly what I was looking for knitting my future son’s baby blanket. And I feel the prices were reasonable: $ 40 for three sizable selections of quality yarn and wood/bamboo needles. Nice little gem in the Troy area.

Wide variety of yarn and craft supplies! My Craft Room is my go to location for yarn and other craft items. They have everything you need for card making as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I am fairly new into knitting and craft making and found that Janet and Joyce were happy to help me locate the right type of yarn for my first project. The store has a nice selection of jewelry making supplies as well. I was able to create a simple, trendy bracelet with some inspiration from the sample pieces they had. My Craft Room offers a wide variety of classes from beginners to experts in knitting and card making. I’m excited to add more craft skills to my repertoire!

I love scrapbooking as much the next person, but why is it so hard to find a good scrapbook store in the area? I’ve been home for almost two months now, and I wanted to go check this place out to see what they had. I’m not only looking for random supplies like paper, ribbon and other things, but the late night classes that are held on the weekends. I found this store because it was closest to home, and the other ones that I called were all closed! I finally stopped in yesterday, and it’s a okay. They have two isles or so of scrapbook supplies, but they cater to several different craft things so it was a combination store. Yarn, stamping stuff and sewing things too, there was a variety of product for a variety of hobbies. The down side is that they don’t host weekend late nighters since their not exclusively a scrapbook store. I was told by the staff that they do have a class once a month with a gal who does a 4 page layout, but I was looking for a lab. Staff here was friendly and helpful, and their open 7 days a week. Not a half bad place to pick up stuff for just about anything, really.
