I have worked at several property management companies that have dealt with Paul/OB Neumann. As the other Unilocalers mentioned, Paul is a true professional. He keeps us updated on the date/time when he can take care of the intercom requests. He’s truly a professional vendor & one that should be used by any association needing this type of service. It’s a pleasure daily with Paul on a regular basis.

Paul at OB Neumann is the very first person that I would call if you have any kind of electronic entry system, which is common for apts and gate communities. He’s super helpful and very quick to respond to phone calls or emails. He taught me how to download manufacturer software to allow me to manage the entry system at the gated community where I serve on the homeowners association board of directors. I can now add or delete resident phone numbers without having to call my property manager and have them send out a tech. Paul taught me how to fish instead of selling me fish. But I will certainly recommend him and refer him to anyone else I come across who needs a gate or entry system specialist.

As the President of my HOA, my neighbors/fellow homeowners all rely on me to keep our building running smoothly. So when our security phone(intercom) at the gate malfunctions and the mail carrier can’t even get in to deliver mail, I need to act fast and have the right contacts at my disposal. Thanks to my awesome building management company(Rubin and Associates) for sussing out the best vendors, because I have called O.B. Neumann for help with our intercom since 2006, and they have always come to the rescue! Paul(yes, Neumann heehee) is the owner and technician, and there are times he has literally been here within the hour and repaired our problem just as fast. Other days when he’s busy, he’ll tell me how long he will be — and he is always true to his word. The only one time in the last 7 years that he wasn’t able to get here on the same day was because he was having a once-in-ten-years vehicle issue. Since I value the information that’s programmed in our phone(everyone’s unit numbers and contact phone numbers), I wouldn’t dare trust anyone else but him, so I waited til he was mobile once again. I only had to wait one day, and he came on a weekend but charged us the regular weekday rate. And of course fixed our problem immediately. Oh! And if I’m not at the building when he arrives, he’ll text me the outcome and that the problem is fixed. SO perfect! Not only is Paul an obviously skilled technician and very well respected by my management company(they use him for all of their clients), but he is a pleasure to talk to. He jokingly gives me his condolences when I call, because he knows the headaches that can come with being an HOA President and the juggling that is called for. This makes me laugh, because it is the truth! If you have an intercom in your building and you never EVER want to have to re-program every single number into it again because somebody less skilled tried to repair it, you’ve got to keep Paul in your cell phone contacts and use him. And ONLY him! P. S. — He also repairs electronic garage gates, gate operators, and does fabrication welding of any kind
