Why are food trucks so expensive! LOL This one is well worth it, the food is unique and delicious! :) One of my favorite food truck experiences!

This place is always a hit and never a miss… yummmy food, great staff and very convenient. Every time I visit my friends in L. A we go there; all the items on the menu sound so good so it’s always hard to decide what to order but I usually end up ordering the Crazy Chicken Donut Sandwich or the Korean BBQ Beef. SOOOOODELICIOUS! I’m also planning on having them cater for my son’s Bday as I know it’ll be a big hit at his party! I’m a huge fan and I highly recommend them to all the Unilocalers out there!

I have never seen or eaten off food trucks before. I came across StreetKings one day. I could by believe the prices for 3 tacos. $ 11.99 Is outrageous for a food truck. the size was smaller then expected also. Food was tasty but was expecting a larger amount… at least put in a side of fries or something. Seeing the amount of food people were getting from other trucks makes me want to go to them instead.

I spotted this gem near LACMA when I noticed a huge line in front of it. I ordered the Korean Beef sliders with truffle fries and it was absolutely delicious. As for the price, it is pretty much the same price as any other food truck. I don’t know why people are saying it’s so expensive. Also, I look forward to trying some items on the«VEGGIE-LICIOUS» section. I thought the Quinoa Tabbouleh and the Stuffed Dates sounded really good.

Got the Korean BBQ beef tacos at the concert night at Burton Chase Park. The meat was nicely seasoned, but for the amount of meat and sauce in the taco I thought it was really over priced. The ordering system wasn’t very orderly. The pick up and order line were in the same area, which lead to some confusion as to who had, and who hadn’t ordered. Overall, food and service were just, meh compared to other food trucks I’ve been to.

Yes, I’m a fan! What a great unexpected suprise in LA. I have always seen tv shows about food trucks but, I never understood what all the hoopla was about. I am sitting here corrected! Street Kings changed my point of view completely, they served my friends and I one of the best lunches I have every had. Everything on their menu looked mouth watering, tacos, truffle fries, lobster corn dog. I was overwhelmed with my choices but, I ended up choosing Korean BBQ Tacos! They will rock your world! You can follow them on Unilocal and Twitter to find out the location of the day. Also there is an app available on smart phones however, I dont recall the name. They were recently voted the Best New Food Truck in LA by ABC Television so that is going to tell you something. Stop by and see them! You will not regret any choce. Cheers Unilocalers!

I tried the Crazy Chicken Donut Sandwich at the Monterey Park Night Market. It tasted like a sandwich made inside a Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Donut. The doughnut was sweet. The bacon and cheddar and chicken fritter were salty. The chicken fritter was good– not dry or tough. What it needed, though, was some sauce. I think a creamy buffalo sauce would have been good. It was a little under $ 8.

Excellent find! After sizing up the trucks on Wilshire on a Saturday afternoon, we opted to check out Street Kings, for reasons not the least of which was the eager yet charming beckoning by the staff and their claims to greatness. Well they were spot on! We sampled the Garlic Herb Grilled Chicken tacos and the BBQ Pulled Pork tacos, sweet potato fries and, of course, the Signature Grilled Cheese Donut!!! Everything was FANTASTIC! I’d love to go into a nuanced description of the interplay of ingredients or the balance of flavor palettes, blah, blah, blah… But the truth is, if you see this truck, EATIT!!! Turned a good day at LACMA into a GREATDAY at LACMA!

I stopped by during lunch on a Thursday. The truck was parked across from LACMA. Way overpriced for the amount of food. I got two tiny sliders and it came out to $ 8 + tax. I got the kbbq slider and the chicken slider. The kbbq slider was better than the chicken one but definitely not worth it for $ 8. Next time I will just eat at the fruit stand.

Do yourself a favor and get the donut chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese. It is perfect. They offer a money back guarantee that you will like it and if anyone has ever claimed it, they were lying. This sandwich is the stuff of legends. The chicken is perfectly fried and the combo of the bacon, cheese, and donut roll make it exquisite. Perfection! I also had the ballpark frank which, in my opinion, was more satisfying than Pink’s and there was no wait outside LACMA on a Thursday afternoon. Great experience and the customer service was remarkable for a food truck.

Let me start by saying I tired this Truck about 3 months ago and the food was decent for a food truck. Last week I was near LACMA and I saw that truck it had a HUGE line in front of it I thought to myself let me give it another try. even thought it was a long line, it moved quickly and I could see everyone’s reactions as they got their food, and it was good. My girlfriend and I decided we wanted to try multiple things, so we got the Korean BBQ french fries, BACONBRIESLIDERS(HEAVENHEAVENHEAVEN), Pulled pork grilled cheese and also their s’mores in a donut, everything was fresh the flavors in the food had slightly changed and were more present than the last time I remembered. After I finished my food the line was almost all gone and I got into a quick conversation with the chef, he was very excited to have taken over the truck and he seemed like he knew what he was doing. he told me that BBQ infusion was his first love with food. I recommend going out of your way to try this truck you will not be disappointed with the food and the flavors of it.

This truck was great, and since it had Unilocal plastered all over it, I figure I’ll give it a review. Ordered Garlic Chicken Fries and a Polish Sausage. Both were very tasty, the fries in particular. I am a fan of their menu which offers a variety of preparation options for various items especially since I’m always a sucker for a good plate of french fries. What made the experience truly stand out though was the service. We had gotten to the truck just before 4 o’ clock outside LACMA, which is when they close up shop at that area. No hassle no worries, we got our order in promptly thanks to the girl standing outside taking our order, who talked to us face to face instead of yelling down at us from a truck window. It’s the little things that make an experience. All the while she was friendly even though it was obvious it had been a long day. Great experience overall. highly recommended.

Ran into this food truck at the last grilled cheese invitational. They went on stage to promote one item. I forget what it is called, but it is basically cheese and bacon on a glazed donut bun. Thought I’d try it out, so this review is based on that one experience with that one menu item. First impression: very long ordering line which I thought meant it was going to be amazing. Second impression: ridiculous wait time. It took so long to come out, but people were still willing to wait in line without complaints so I thought,“Wow! This must really be worth it.“ Third impression: I did not like it. I took a bite and I had to stop. I’m not even completely sure what was wrong with it. Usually, sweet and salty works together just fine, but this just didn’t taste right. Maybe I got a less than stellar version(considering the pressure they were under to just put out orders), maybe it was my taste buds, but it turned me off from trying other items. One star for taste but bumped to two because the staff really seemed like they were doing all they could to keep up.

I’m not a big food truck visitor but when a truck has a fried chicken donut sandwich on the menu and offers a «one bite, love it or we will refund you offer»…you have to try it. I ordered the fried chicken, cheese and bacon donut sandwich. After the first bite I thought, wow this is great chicken. It was so nicely fried that I would have preferred it as a normal fried chicken sandwich with bread vs. a glazed donut as the shell. Would I order it again? Probably not. It was very intense and unnecessary but I’m glad I tried it. Would give this truck another try overall. I would definitely recommend sharing this as a whole sandwich will be a bit too intense to finish.

I had the Korean BBQ beef sliders and they were so delicious I actually went back for a second order! The chef, Steve-o was real cool and the owner, Julia was all smiles. They have a good thing going.

So worth the wait! We ordered the truffle fries and an assortment of sliders. The Korean beef BBQ was my favorite. The pulled pork was delicious as was the chicken! If you see this food truck, go eat at it! You won’t be disappointed. So many options for ways to order your meal!

We struck gold today when we visited LACMA for free thanks to something Target put on for President’s Day. Not only did we get free admission to the museum, we were also welcomed with truck after truck of yummy goodness. No idea if this is a regular thing, but I imagine it would be– I’m sure they make bank from all the hungry museum goers! Anyway, one of the trucks we tried was Street Kings. How could we pass up a crispy chicken sandwich, with bacon, on a donut bun?! We couldn’t. We had tried a donut burger once before, up in NorCal, but it was a beef patty and a little overwhelming. For some reason, fried chicken worked better. More fatty? Indeed. But, the crunch nicely complemented the softness of the donut. There was also cheese, but I thought that was unnecessary and I couldn’t taste it that much either.
