Such a great place to grab a bite! Came here for my mom’s birthday lunch and it was wonderful. It was our first time here and everything was 200% perfect. Our server was amazing! He was attentive to our needs. Amazing guy, don’t know his name but he was wonderful. He even gave my baby nephew a teddy bear. It was wonderful. The food was amazing! The portions were great not too small not too big. It’s was perfect! Everything was very tasty.

My husband and I dropped our daughter off for a play date this morning in Beverly Hills so we decided it would be a nice to have brunch at The Beverly Hills Wilshire(The BLVD). Granted, we live in Los Angeles and know that dining here is not about the food as much as it is about the overall Beverly Hills experience and service, which unfortunately turned out to be awful. We decided to sit down at the bar for breakfast. We were looking over the menu and ordering drinks when we suddenly got a waft of strong bleach that did not go away. We asked the bartender if we were smelling bleach and he told us that yes he had sprayed a little beach on the bar and that we could move to a table. Okay. Probably not the best time to be spraying bleach while people are about to eat, but hey everyone makes mistakes. There was a table to the left of us that had not been cleared since we walked in the door so one of the servers cleared the table and wiped the smeared yogurt that had been sitting there off so we could sit down, away from the bleach smell, and order our food. Our new server was a super sweet girl — we really truly liked her until she disappeared half way through our meal. I wanted to ordered another drink and waited and waited and waited for her to come back, but she never did. Finally, I went up to the new female bartender that had just taken the place of the man who sprayed the bleach and asked her if I could order from her because our server had disappeared. She made us excellent drinks quickly and I was super thankful for that. My husband and I enjoyed our drinks and talked to a man who approached us and said he lived at The Wilshire. When we were finished, There was still no sign of our waitress or anyone else who was claiming to be our server so I walked back to the bar again and asked the bartender what I should do about the check if our server had disappeared on us entirely. She sent a man to our table who claimed he was suppose to have been waiting on us because our server went on break. Where had he been this whole time and why did we not know our server was going on a break? And after all of that bad service, they automatically added Gratuity to our bill for our non-existent service. This was one of the most comical so called nice brunches I have ever had. My husband and I spent $ 136 on eggs and bad service. I would not have even mentioned the price because we of course knew what we’d be paying going into it, but we never got the service or experience that one should receive with high prices. My sister and family stay here when they come into town throughout the year so I find myself at The Beverly Wilshire frequently for that reason. After this last experience at The BLVD, I will steer them to another Brunch spot in Los Angeles with much better service. There are so many great ones out there guys. You were really not on your game today.

Based on my experience and many of the reviews here, the servers in this restaurant have slavery mentality. If you’re tough on them, they’ll work right. If you’re kind, they’ll take advantage. The management need to provide training to avoid judging book by its cover. Our server(during this Christmas holiday visit) started off respectful but once we turned friendly, he turned snotty. Our lunch was $ 248 for 2 adults and 2 kids. It’s not like we didn’t spend money on him.

FYI for tourists — this may be a place you want to have a cocktail in since it’s located in the hotel where Pretty Woman was filmed and is quite a lovely place. But for dining, you may want to try something else. The food and service at this restaurant was quite good, but I gave it lower stars because it just seemed a bit overpriced, so I felt I was paying extra for the ambience and décor — which admittedly is quite nice — super high ceilings, dark, warm ambience, tasteful understated furniture in dark woods and bronzy colors. I think this place is better for business meals, first dates and the like if you are trying to impress someone. That being said, our meal was quite good — particularly our foie gras starter — flavorful, perfectly seared and accompanied by a crispy piece of toast and lovely berries and sauces that didn’t overpower the foie gras or turn the toast into mush. I thought the addition of prosciutto to this was a bit much, but my friend really liked it. It is completely your decision if you want to stop in, but for my money, I would rather spend it at Spago’s where the food is better and you can get pretty much the same things you would get here.

The service here is 5 stars they even give woman a hook to keep to hang their purses so they are not on the floor. The German white wine wa really nice with their Chilean sea bass which had so much flavor ! It is very pricey but it is worth the money you pay for. The bread and butter assortment they give you is to die for as well. It’s a great place to have business meetings as well. The Beverly Wilshire hotel is stunning !

So I came here for breakfast on Christmas Morning. The staff are very relatively nice(could be a little more attentive but it was Christmas), and the Interior/Location is beautiful,(probably the best part of the whole thing). The food, however, was pretty bland. I ordered the«skinny girl» breakfast, which is poached eggs with kale and tomato(these people charged me $ 8 for a tiny side of avocado– I get we are in Beverly Hills but we are in Cali, come on!). So it was a major rip off($ 35 for a very bland breakfast which had tiny pieces of egg shells, and needed a heap of salt and hot sauce to make it edible). I tried some of the other breakfasts of my friends, also bland. Perhaps the dinner is better. The atmosphere is very nice however, so that’s really what you are paying for, not the food.

I’m sad to post this review but I have to admit I was not impressed… The food was mediocre and the service was ok. All hype because it’s Beverly Hills. I almost feels as if the food is not fresh and the hotel itself feels dirty/unkept. Carpet looked dirty… As a native of LA I know this place could do better. I ate a $ 32 burger with truffle fries, I’ve had better for much less than what I paid for. I guess the hotel doesn’t care anymore and won’t pay attention to the details. It’s ALL about the DETAILS! I’m assuming the lack of details is because it caters to thousands of tourists that don’t care to pay an arm and leg to be seen on Rodeo… 4 Seasons Hotel The Blvd gets a 2 star :( Btw valet parking is extremely friendly along with the door men, go figure!

Festive place to grab a bite in the middle of Beverly Hills. It’s in the Beverly Wilshire or the ‘Rev Bev Wil’ for you Pretty Woman fans. I’ve never found the food to be remarkable but the service is friendly and it’s a great launching point for some Rodeo Drive shopping. The tuna tartare on the dinner menu is pretty good and they will serve it during lunch if you ask nicely! Menu is American with things like salads and burgers and they offer indoor and outdoor seating.

Friendly staff and good food prepared to a very high quality. I have been to THE blvd restaurant a few times(lucky me!) and have had a pleasant experience every time. The staff are very attentive, giving me a new teapot whenever it is no loner hot. The food is healthy and prepared with the freshest ingredients. But my favorite thing about this place is the people watching, both in the restaurant(I have seen at least two celebrities here, but not gonna name drop) and outside. The windows and outdoor seats look our directly onto Wilshire and Rodeo Drive, so you’ll see a never-ending parade of flashy luxury cars and tourists. It’s a great LA experience, and IMO what you pay for when eating here.

Simple, clean menu for breakfast and lunch. I highly recommend the black truffle omelette. So good!!! The service is always perfect. This place employs life long, loyal employees and it shows. The décor could use some refreshing but otherwise a great experience for an upscale but relaxed meal.

Today, was by far the worst experience I’ve had! I’ve been here maybe 4 – 5 times never once had an issue dining here. came in here for lunch today, ordered a glass of ice tea for $ 8 which I then realized after getting the bill that my glass of ice tea was covered in some kind of tiny gnats insects inside and outside of my glass! the whole time I’ve been swallowing insects, I was so occupied w eating my salmon and talking to my friend, but I did noticed the insects hitting my forehead while I was dining. when I complained to my waiter, he was not apologetic whats so ever, all he said was«well, that’s why many customers chose to sit inside». if they knew, why was I not informed this information prior sitting down outside? there was 2 other parties sitting outside w us, were they informed about the insect situation? I’ve been here like I said 4 – 5 times, and have sat outside all those times, never once had a problem w insects, I should’ve at least been informed! from now on, I will not recommend this place to anyone, horrible customer service & way overpriced for a glass of ice tea covered in bugs! 208 rodeo is right across the street, should’ve never chose this place over my go to spot!

The minute I walk in to this place no one said hello, I sat myself, the waitress was very nice but not professional as she gave me the special menu for drinks then she charged me the normal price(I ordered a Peroni its says 5 $ then she charged me 8 $) when I questioned her, she apologize and left running like I’m gonna ask her for a refund lol, anyway, there was a lot of people smoking in the Patio WTF this BH(they can’t smoke In a public place) the manager at the front was very nice and she told me to take care of it … Is this the Four season hotel? Was I in MOTEL6? I have been in couple of four season properties but I have never seen or known that the FOURSEASON operates in MOTEL6 !!! Is Are you guys really serious ?! Please work on that image .YOUARETHE4SEASON Thank You :)))

Really just a fun place to people watch if you aren’t staying in the hotel. I’ll occasionally have brunch at the bar, either The Cure if I’m with someone or the Norwegian if I’m hungry or The Skinny on Saturday. Mostly I eat bar nuts and their awesome kettle chips with a respectable albeit pricey(natch) Bloody Mary.

Wow. This was probably the most expensive breakfast I’ve had. Given the price of the food, I was expecting some above average food and service to say the least. The ambiance is very high-end, upscale and classy. The décor is modern and the waiting staff is very professional for the most part. We ordered: (2) Huevos A La Espanola — poached eggs, tomato, olives, capers, grilled toast (1) Norwegian — smoked salmon, poached eggs, potato rosti, hollandaise, caviar (2) Country Breakfast — sunny-side up eggs, sundried tomato, smoked bacon, pecorino romano When the food came, the waiter brought us 2 Huevos A La Espanola, 2 Norwegian and 1 Country Breakfast. Not only did our waiter got our orders wrong, he gave the wrong dish to each of us. When we asked why we had 2 Norwegian and 1 Country Breakfast he kinda gave a bad attitude as if he was right and we were wrong. When he went to check the order receipt, he did realize he brought out the wrong food and then lied saying that he accidentally brought the wrong dish and that the correct dish would be coming out… and it came out 10 minutes later meaning that he placed the incorrect order to the kitchen in the 1st place or the kitchen just cooked the wrong dish — should’ve just told the truth saying that they were going to cook one up fast rather than saying he brought out the wrong dish. Anyway, food was average and service was subpar. Not sure why people eat here honestly. I can make eggs just as good!

Atmosphere is classy, service is awesome, but the food is nay… We had London Bridges, Norwegian, and another one(I forgot the name). The lox in Norwegian is too salty… you cannot figure out whether it’s fresh or not… Their Earl Grey tea is pretty good tho!

This review is strictly for the guy who works here. His name is Ben, a young gentleman from Paris. I think… He has a really cool accent. There was a mix up on our reservation but Ben was so accommodating and kind. He made everything happen that night for us. THEBlvd is so lucky to have someone like Ben! I can’t appraise enough how great he was. Just never had such an awesome worker like that. Let’s put it this way: His customer service was so good that my husband requested the manager’s email so We can email him to tell him how good Ben was! :-)(Which We will!) Enough said.

I asked myself a question: When I want to celebrate someone’s birthday, and when I want to make it special, which restaurant should I choose, especially when the person is a selective eater? My answer was«THE Blvd». There are many romantic and cozy restaurants in the Beverly Hills and WeHo areas. One of the factors I came to this decision while I had so many options was that the prompt response from the management. Their quick responses and the tight communications made me feel that I could rely on them to proceed my plan. All the dishes were brought to our table as planned. The food was great and the presentation was very pretty. The only thing I wish that didn’t happen was that when we ordered wheat free bread, it didn’t come to our table more than 20 minutes, and when my guest asked what’s going on, we were told that it’s still frozen and needed to thaw out. I probably wouldn’t want to know that the slices of bread served for my guest was coming from frozen loaf. I also requested an inscription as they’ve done beautifully for my birthday last year. For this occasion, not sure what happened but the inscription looked like child’s handwriting that upper cases and lower cases were mixed and it’s also written in print; it was written like«Happy BIRTHDaY». It really made me wonder who did this inscription, and maybe I shouldn’t have requested it, as the chocolate dessert probably would have looked prettier without it. Their service was great, and the food was very good as usual. I still like this restaurant. I will just have to make my request more precisely in the future. Overall, we enjoyed the night. Thank you. 4 stars.

I came here on a Saturday to meet a friend for brunch. The only parking option would be to valet it at the Four Season(where the restaurant is located in) for $ 14 with validation($ 20 regular). The restaurant is quite lovely with a ceiling and large windows where natural lighting can come through. It’s definitely a fine and fancy place to eat! Our server was exceptional and everyone there was super friendly. I asked our server(I feel bad I didn’t get his name) for suggestions and I took them all! Here’s what my friend and I had to share: BLVDBENEDICT — $ 28 parma ham, swiss chard, grilled country bread, lobster, hollandaise The parma ham reminded me of prosciutto; salty and thinly sliced. plenty of it in this dish! However I“m not used to an eggs benedict dish where it only comes with one egg… hmmm. The hollandaise sauce was lovely though! It was creamy. I was impressed with the swiss chard because it didn’t taste bitter and it was cooked right: not too soggy. And the big deal part: lobster. This was placed right next to everything – 3 pieces of yummy lobster not mixed into everything like I thought it would! More control to how I eat it, yay! NORWEGIAN — $ 26 smoked salmon, poached eggs, potato rosti, hollandaise, caviar This one came with 2 eggs, yay! The smoked salmon was delicious and didn’t taste so fishy. Salty, but good. Laid out on top of that is a bed of arugula which paired very well with the salmon! As for the potato rosti… its pretty much hash browns. Yeah they tried to make this dish sound all fancy but its just hash browns that isn’t so greasy. It’s good don’t get me wrong. As for the caviar… I don’t recall what that tasted like unfortunately. Overall its a good dish. It’s simple and didn’t feel heavy. BACON(side of 4) — $ 7 When 4 slices of bacon was brought out on a plate it looked dry. Dont expect a shiny and greasy sizzling serving of side bacon to be presented. However, it was good. It was crispy in taste. Room temperature though… not the best, but pretty good enough. However…$ 7 for 4 slices of bacon!!! I think I can order a full meal with leftovers from IHOP: P DOUGHNUTS — $ 12 strawberry jam, lemon cream, «nutella» sauce This comes with 4 itty bitty finger doughnuts that is has this floral aroma to it… perhaps rosewater? It’s covered in sugar and I think a bit of cinnamon. The sauces that it comes with is fantastic: «Nutella», which is pretty much a thick chocolate sauce had a hint of bitterness which I assume was a dark chocolate. The strawberry Jam was clearly homemade and didn’t taste too sweet… it was loose and tasty. The Lemon cream tasted like lemon curd – very sweet and citrusy. Did I mention you only get 4 tiny pieces? Yeah, there was plenty of sauce leftover, so I just ate it all with the tiny spoons it came with. I know, I’m very lady-like but hey, if I paid $ 12 for it I might as well finish it! Overall I had a wonderful time. The food I ate wasn’t heavy which allowed me room for dessert! No leftovers though but its ok… I was happy with what I ordered. I just think everything is over priced. My friend’s ice tea was $ 8…REALLY? Anywho, I guess what you pay for is the exceptional service and ambiance. It IS fun to get fancy and pretend to be high class every one in a while: P
