As everyone has already said there is always a wait. But well worth it! Food is consistently great. Servers actually listen to your order one of the only places that gets it when I say crispy bacon. The restaurant itself is bright and sunny.

Another 5 stars for the best all around food in Beverly and maybe the North shore. Staff is as pleasant and helpful as can be. We over 65ers will remember some dishes like liver & onions. Try this place.

Everything made from scratch. Been there several times and never disappointed. Don’t let the fact that the place is very basic and full of retirees fool you. They are there because the prices are really affordable and the food is really good!

Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Very friendly atmosphere. The wait is worth it. Skip the home fries.

The wait may be long but it’s well worth it! The staff is super friendly and the food is amazing! There hasn’t been one dish here that I haven’t tried that I haven’t enjoyed. I have brought countless family members and friends here and they have asked to go back every single time they are in town. I have family members who live over half an hour away who now drive here just for the breakfast. TRYIT, YOUWON’T REGRETIT!

The food in this diner is great but a little pricy. If you try to go on a weekend after 8am, there is ALWAYS along wait. They need a bigger space to accommodate the demand!

This place by far is my favorite breakfast place to go on the North Shore, maybe even the whole state. I used to enjoy going to Stephy’s but much rather give my business to Depot Diner. Though majority of the time you go(especially if it is a weekend) there is a bit of a wait, it seems to go by somewhat fast depending on where you are in line. Another good thing is there is a Starbucks in the same plaza to go grab a coffee, and better yet you are more than welcome to bring it in with you do have while you eat. The waitresses are more than nice and I very seldom have had a problem with any of them. The food is always really good and the place is very reasonably priced. My boyfriend and I have been here on numerous occasions and have always been satisfied. The portions are good for the prices too. Though the place is a little small for the mount of people coming and going, they manage to work for and efficient and pay attention to everyone and their needs without making anyone feel rushed.

good food but super overpriced. by the name of it I thought it’d be a cute hole-in-the-wall diner, but it is pretty fancy. we went around 1pm on Sunday and waited about 20 – 30 minutes. not too horrible. probably won’t go back because we can find the same quality food for less– especially when it comes to breakfast food. tip: don’t get the orange juice. it is grocery store quality and like $ 4/glass or something obscene!

This is my absolute favorite breakfast on the North Shore! I almost always order the blackstone eggs benedict and it never disappoints. My boyfriend will branch out and get their specials or a sweeter breakfast and they are all delicious. Definitely need to get there early to avoid a long line, but it’s always worth the wait. The staff is wonderful and you always end up seeing a familiar face. One day I’ll get there for lunch…

After hearing so many good things. My friend and I grabbed lunch here today. It was my first time but she had been there before for breakfast. On a Friday around 12:45 it was full and a cluster of people were waiting in what little area is there. We were told 15 – 20 minutes and it definitely wasn’t more than 15. We lucked out and got a booth by the window. Our waitress was a sweet woman. Prices and variety are good and food was tasty! I am definitely going for breakfast next time– the pancakes looked so good! If it was that busy on a Friday, I would be very wary to go on a Saturday or Sunday!

We usually go on weekends and it’s very busy. My favorite is the quiche! The kids love pancakes and French toast. They have no problem accommodating picky eaters such as my husband who ordered an egg white veggie omelette, no cheese with dry toast. The food is delicious!

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Food is always great and the service is too. Just get there early or be prepared to wait. I get the corned beef hash eggs Benedict every time we go and it never disappoints. Not the cheapest place but it’s worth every penny. Definitely my favorite breakfast spot.

We went here for Sunday brunch and so did everyone else in town. We waited 45 minutes to seat our party. That’s the main reason I can’t give it 5 stars. All of us ordered french toast. I got the Nutella and my friends got blueberry and regular french toast. It really was delicious breakfast food. With how busy it was, I was pleased with how quickly our food came. We didn’t get to see our server very much since it was so busy and so didn’t always get immediate coffee or water refills but that’s not a huge deal. I’d go there again for sure but I’d try and go when it wasn’t so crowded.

THE best breakfast location on the north shore. Hands down. If you’re doubting this, you probably aren’t realizing how no matter what day and time it is, this place is BUSY. I’ve come here for their breakfast sandwiches when I used to work at the CVS pharmacy down the street, or their omelettes(I’d make my own — mushroom, onions, sausage and broccoli), as well as their lunch dishes(the steak kabob salad is prime). Regardless of everything I’ve tried here, the corn beef hash here is essentially the best corn beef hash I’ve ever had. Any time I go to any other diner, I judge my hashes against the hash at Depot Diner, and nothing has compared. Expect a wait if you’re coming here, but it is well worth it since the service is quick and friendly, the food comes out fast, and it is DELICIOUS.

Solid local breakfast joint! Sidenote: I’ve only been here for breakfast/brunch, not lunch! If you come on a Saturday or Sunday, be prepared to wait 20 minutes. The staff is friendly, and the service is great-your coffee will be refilled before you realize it. The omelettes are HUGE and packed with flavor and goodies; this is definitely something you can share. If you’re on a budget, get the breakfast sandwich in all it’s oozy, cheesy glory. Great for groups, kid-friendly, and if you’re like me, you can laugh kind of loud without feeling bad.

Dined on a Friday a bit before 2 pm. Upon arrival, the diner was about 75% full and we were greeted immediately at the door and seated at a booth. Our waitress arrived fairly quickly and was very friendly. Breakfast is served all day and though I was tempted with the breakfast offerings, I opted for the grilled steak tips over chopped greek salad and my friend the grilled salmon over Caesar. Since we were eating so healthy, we decided on a side of steak fries after seeing them being served at a nearby table. :-) The salads were very fresh with ample greens. My friend asked for her Caesar dressing on the side but it came with the dressing on instead. Her salmon was slightly overcooked for her and my taste but my steak tips were cooked perfectly(medium) and were tasty and tender. The steak fries were meaty and hot! Overall, we were pleased with our lunches. The only negative was the slightly over cooked salmon. About $ 35 including tip, tap water as drinks. We’d definitely return again to try some of their other offerings!
