Just bought the new J F Rey eye glasses and I can’t wait to wear them. The owner went through almost the entire store helping me find out which one I liked. I narrowed it down to 3 of them and it was toughest decision I have ever made, I loved them all. Great selection.

Many purchases later, time to update my Unilocal review since I used to buy only sunglasses from Laird, but in the past few years have also bought several pairs of prescription eyeglasses that are so unique and wonderful looking that I literally get stopped by strangers to inquire where they came from. (Why do you think I’ve bought several??)

Gorgeous shop and frames – both ultra modern, sleek, and minimalist, just like I like. The owner, Laird, is wonderful. He is super nice and very knowledgeable and patient. He spends a lot of time with customers, and never pressures them to purchase anything.
I ended up selecting a pair of blue-​striped (subtly striped) Prada frames, something completely out of my comfort zone; I wanted plain black frames, but they did not have the frame shape I was looking for, and the Prada was the absolute closest thing. They are beautiful frames, but the problem is my eyesight is so bad that the lenses, even if they are the ultra-​high index ones (and they are) are still really thick, which means the glasses weigh down on my face, sometimes leaving a frame imprint.
Although I still wear contact lenses rather than glasses almost exclusively, I would purchase another pair of frames from Eyephoria with no hesitation.

Laird, the owner, was knowledgeable, helpful, and very stylish. He has a huge selection of frames and his customer service is top notch.
