The bottom line is that you get absolute professionalism and artistry when you walk into their space. They are clearly passionate about what they do and it comes through in the excellent recommendations they make. Every single time I go to pick something up I feel giddy knowing the framing will elevate my work, and the quality consistently exceeds my expectations.
I am a photographer and have come to Katherine with a handful of unusual requests or even questions or ideas that I wasn’t sure how to execute; she always take the time to talk about options, and guides me to the perfect solution.
As a small business owner and artist myself I also appreciate the role they play in supporting local art through their gallery. It’s a pleasure and honor doing business with them!

The employees at Mingo framing were professional and polite. They worked with me and were flexible in helping me find a framing option that would preserve my piece and still be affordable. I shopped around for options both online and places like A.C. Moore, but I was so impressed with Mingo. Definitely highly recommended. Plus, it’s great to be in a gallery space too!

A very pleasant, thoughtful professionalism comes through when dealing with the owners of the gallery, George and Katherine. They are extremely knowledgeable and clear about the framing process and how best to show off your piece. This is not like dropping off your art at Michael’s, to be delivered into the hands of a clueless 20 year-​old who will have nothing to do with the framing once they ship it off.
Mingo has exceeded my expectations on the pieces my husband and I have brought in, and done it at a fair price. Their creativity and skill made even a simple poster I’ve had since college look like it should be hanging in a much nicer house. :)
As mentioned, their gallery shows are top-​notch and openings are always warm and fun. Great little spot for art in Beverly.
