Every pizza place around this area should learn from this place. It’s delicious. Pizza and calzones are awesome. I live in Salem and I travel 20 minutes to get there. Well worth it.

First time trying this place– Beverly Hospital employees; we were told it would take 45 min for delivery, called once and it was finally delivered 1 ½ hours later. 3 of us threw our tuna subs away; dark tuna(never got subs or wraps from anywhere before that were not white tuna). One person discarded their kabob salad, unsatisfactory salad with tasteless, not seasoned prices of chicken. One person with chicken kabob wrap kept biting into hard unchewable pieces in their chicken. We will stick with our usual dependable takeout in the future; no interest in trying this place out again.

I’ve gotten pizzas here in the past, and they’ve been satisfactory. However, on Friday night, 10÷2÷15, we ordered a large thin-crust and were very disappointed. Not only was the crust paper thin, it was as dry and crackly as a matzo ball. Additionally, the pizza had very little cheese and sauce. It certainly wasn’t worth the $ 15 price. Time to move on.

This place is a mixed bag. From 2010 — 2012, I had consistently decent food. The calzones I found especially good. However, since then I haven’t found their food to be consistent. Sometimes it’s good, other times it’s terrible. Just something to be aware of.

Jumped The Shark… Wow, what the heck? Pizza used to be friggin’ fantastic there. No idea what on earth is going on lately. ALWAYS soggy crust towards the center, no matter how many times I tell them PLEASE do it «well done!» cause this has happened SO many times. WAS a huge fan but consistently bad(and getting worse) pizzas are putting a nail in this coffin. Does anyone care over there anymore? Shame. Loved it in the past. Hate it now. The two stars are a gift at this point. Hope someone in charge sees these bad eviews and tries to turns this place around. Otherwise they’ve lost this customer.

Food isn’t anything special. There’s not much room inside to sit and eat so I would order for delivery. Twice I ordered from them. First time they picked up right away took my order and simple as that I was all set, until an hour and a half later when my food was delivered stone cold. Annoyed, but thought it was just a bad night. Ordered again for delivery, called 5 times before they picked up and again, my food was delivered over an hour later stone cold. Only reason I ordered from them was cause no one delivers to manchester, but seeing they are 10 min from my house I assumed it would be quick. I was wrong. And on top of that their drivers are jerks and multiple times I have almost got in horrible accidents from them either cutting me off, swerving, texting and driving, and speeding down 127 cutting every corner. Not worth a penny.

I’ve ordered food delivered on several occasions and the food, mostly pizza, is delicious but the service is generally on the slow side and the phone reception is less than warm. Basically, I’ve tolerated the latter because the food was so good. That said, the tied might have turned with my most recent experience on Sat., March 1, 2014. I called and was immediately put on hold. Once the order was placed I was provided an estimated delivery time of one hour. After about an hour and twenty minutes I called to check on the status and was told rather quickly it should«be there any minute.» How did she find out that quickly? So I waited… and waited. After an hour and forty minutes I called to cancel the order. Again I was told it should be any minute. I canceled anyway. No apology for the extremely late delivery. Two minutes later the food arrives at the door(about 1:42 mins after placing the order). The driver did apologize(good) and when I asked if the food was still warm he said, «it should be.» I should have checked because once inside I soon discovered the pizza looked like and tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for an hour. Of course I got charged for the food. I get that this is a small business but it’s the only thing they do. I can’t image it’s that hard to determine more accurate delivery times and set expectations appropriately with customers. And more proactively addressing late deliveries would help with customer relations. I’ll have to think twice about ordering from Prides again. Too bad.

This place rocks. I only found out about it a couple months ago but I’ve ordered from them more than I probably should. The pizza is delicious. I usually get the meatlovers pizza and it’s great, but the chicken bacon ranch calzone is out of this world. Delivery does take a really long time usually, but it’s great food and they deliver until 3am Friday and Saturday night. Where else are you going to find great food at that time?

Got delivery, waited about an hour and made that always awkward«hey where’s my food?» Phone call, food showed up about 15 – 30 minutes after that. Ordered a meat pizza and wings, although tasty, did show up cold. Preheating the oven now…

I have only had Pride’s delivered. The first time we ordered it was a week night and we ordered 4 sandwiches with a couple of appetizers. All of the food was really good but it took about 50 minutes to arrive. At the time we didn’t think anything of it because we weren’t super hungry and our guests were running late anyway. Since we liked the food, we decided that we would try it again. This time it was on a Friday night and again the food took about 50 – 55 minutes to arrive. This place is only about 3 miles from my house and there are no traffic lights and usually no traffic. The food was still good so I didn’t let it bother me too much. 3 – 4 Sundays in a row now we have ordered Pride’s while watching football. Each time it has taken a minimum of an hour to get here. This Sunday we waited an hour and 25 minutes for our food to arrive. Each time we were quoted 45 minutes. Also, the food has been increasingly mediocre. If the food was fantastic, I would gladly wait longer for it to get here. When I brought it up to the delivery driver this time around, he basically just said that they were busy on Sunday’s. I have worked in the restaurant industry and I get that sometimes you just get busy and there is nothing that you can do about it. But quoting someone 45 minutes and then taking almost double that is unacceptable. Additionally, if you are that busy EVERY Sunday, then you need to schedule and additional cook or an additional driver… basically whatever it takes to improve your service. We will be taking our business elsewhere for awhile. I hope they can get this turned around because I thought this place had a lot of potential.

What an awkward experience. Ordered some take out for lunch and the place messed up our order missing one wrap so we called back and the girl on the phone tried to tell us that we didn’t order that wrap even though we repeated the order back to her twice. Had to come back to get it which was annoying. The food was mediocre. Wraps were ok, my salad was fresh but the chicken was really dry. Soggy fries too. I’ve definitely had better.

Pretty good pizzas. I wasn’t blown away but they are a solid choice for the area. I really do enjoy the Taco Pizza! Delivery service has always been pretty quick and friendly.

Really great little deli. I’ve gone here a bunch of times and it never disappoints. Last time I was there I got a meatball sub; really great. It was such a simple sub I didn’t expect anything too great but they really delivered. Very flavorful. I’ve never ordered one, but my friends have — you gotta try the Pizzilla. I might be spelling it wrong. It’s essentially a sub sandwich inside a piece of pizza. Insane. Really insane. But from what I’ve been told, well worth the trip.

Wow. My husband and I just ordered the sausage and ricotta pizza and it was delicious! We ate the whole thing. The dough was fresh as well as the toppings. We will order again soon.

Delicious pizza, they stay open late, the staff is friendly. What more can you ask for? BTW, it’s blazing hot in there(like walking into a pizza oven), so you’ll want to sit outside or take out.

I walked in to order a pizza one evening. We’re new to the area and I very much prefer to find locally owned businesses. I was given time to peruse the menu and selected the BBQ chicken pizza. It was resonably priced, a good size, and delicious. The staff was friendly and let me know it would be about 15 minutes for the pizza to be made. I sat outside on one of the picnic tables and watched the traffic pass by. When my order was ready, they brought it out to me and thanked me for my business. I will certainly go back and am excited to try more of what they have to offer!

I come from a small town in Connecticut which was littered with small family owned pizza shops. When I moved to the North Shore, I found plenty of roast beef, but not one place that sells a decent meatball sub. When the Deli up the street from my work came under new ownership, I decided to give it a test, The pizza was great! But the ultimate test was the meatball sub. To my surprise I got meatballs that were actually made there, not small wimpy meatballs that most places buy. The bread was crisped slightly in the oven and the cheese was warm and melty. Finally! I love the North Shore, but I was beginning to think nobody could make a meatball. Thanks Prides! you made my day.

Its been a few months since I visited this location, and since they were new things could have definately changed. However the sandwich I got was average at best and while the staff was more then friendly. I was shocked that they charge you extra to add lettuce and tomato to your sandwich. I have never heard of this in any restaurant. The atmosphere in general was very poor, all they had a was a half empty drink cooler and a banquet table sitting in the front.

While most pizzerias in the area seem to buy pre-made dough, and cardboard cheese substitute, Prides Deli uses fresh ingredients, and has a pretty innovative menu. My favorite pizzas from them have been the basic cheese and artichoke pizza. I have also had the interesting«Taco» pizza, and Buffalo chicken pizza(pretty spicy stuff). The guys there are friendly, and they deliver.
