Today I went to pick up a certified letter at 3 pm. I was the 7th person in line. There were only two clerks at the counter. 15 minutes later I was the 4th person In a line that had now grown to 17 persons. Fortunately a 3rd clerk came on duty and asked if anyone in line was just there to pick up a package or letter. He saved me at least another 15 minutes. For the amount of taxes we are paying you’d think we’d get some efficient friendly service.

Line is backed up out the door, one employee occasionally at the counter having to go in the back to do paper work every few mins

I am very surprised that this town actually even has a post office since it seems like this town has less than 100 people in it. It’s kind of a spot on the map on your way to the Hanford Site. It’s so small and very«rural» feeling. This office is old fashioned and does not have an automated postal center nor is it a passport acceptance facility, so look elsewhere. It’s right next to the gas station so you can’t miss it. It’s basically a corrugated metal mobile home on a foundation. This is a replacement office for the post office that burned down a few years ago.
