I want to like this Chipotle. The staff have been incredibly friendly, but each time I’ve ordered from here something has been wrong. I’m giving it two stars because three should represent an average Chipotle. This one is below average. My wife and I ordered online for my first visit, and I showed up 10 minutes after the«ready» time. No one in line, and my order wasn’t ready yet. Additionally, they forgot my wife’s guac, but that wasn’t realized until I got home. They did give me a free bag of chips for my wait, which was nice. Just please screw up my order next time — not my wife’s. The next visit I wanted carnitas, they were out and said I could wait. No thanks, I’ll do steak. Another free bag of chips for my trouble — cool. I love Chipotle’s chips, especially when I get a burrito bowl(which I did). They were freaking stale. Ugh. I didn’t mind switching to steak, but don’t give me stale chips as a compensation. I was okay without them. I’ll give this location a few more tries before finding another, less convenient(hopefully better) one.

Ok. I get it. It’s Chipotle. The demand high. Doesn’t that mean that the manager prepares by staffing up and having things ready for a dinner rush? I’ve been enjoying Chipotle in numerous locations but have never seen such SLOW service.

Sadly, this location has been majorly«demoted» in my book. Let me explain. I live in Bexley. I frequent this location out of sheer convenience. But even my definition of «frequent» doesn’t hold a wick to how my teenaged daughter frequents this location. It’s tough sometimes to disappoint a hungry teenager. This location has mastered the Art of Disappointment. Around 5 years ago or so, give or take, this particular location was on its A+++++ GAME! The management was ONIT. The employees were ONIT. The food was ONIT. So what happened? Well, I know for certain that the management changed, the employees changed(not all, but a lot), thus certainly impacting quality and service. To have rude and seemingly disconnected employees, running that front line– is a MAJOR turnoff. Those employees on that frontline, ARE the FACE of your business. They’re who the customer interacts with and who ultimately will make that experience what it is(good or bad). The Chipotle STANDARDS handed down from their corporate level, are NOT being met. From service all the way down to the size that the cilantro is to be cut. When you have to order your rice«plain», because you want a «hint» of cilantro, but instead it appears to be cilantro with a little bit of rice mixed in– that’s a problem. And by problem, I mean the employees act like you’ve asked them to relinquish their first born to you. Cut the cilantro correctly(per Chipotle corporate standards) and perhaps we can solve that minor«hiccup» that inconveniences the employees to the point of being downright RUDE. If I had to sum up my «request» or «hope» for this location, what would I say in 5 words or less? That’s easy– GETITTOGETHER, BEXLEYCHIPOTLE!

The rice is never done as it should be in this location. It’s almost always undercooked and chewy. When it is cooked thoroughly it’s either bland or over salted. Also with all of the people they have on line, the service is most often very slow.

Don’t go to this location, workers don’t care about customer experience and its badly run. Wait times are too excessive, I can run downtown and get a burrito faster.

As I mentioned in the other Chipotle review, receiving some coupons recently has sent us to Chipotle on more than one occasion in the last few weeks. Since we were going to a movie at the Drexel, and this location is right down the street, we decided to pop in here for a quick bite beforehand. This Chipotle is quite spacious, and everybody working there was polite and welcoming. The line did seem to be neverending while we were there, but they moved people through it pretty quickly.

Since I was a child, this has been the Chipotle I have relied on for amazing Mexican cuisine. The service was impeccable, as well as the food. However, today I had a horrible experience. My office made an order online, and I was given the task to pick up the food. Today, the service was incredibly rude. I was astounded that a worker could be so irrevocably disrespectful to a customer. I am extremely disappointed at the service, considering the fact that my office and I spent well over $ 100 on their mediocre food. Needless to say, I will never attend this Chipotle restaurant again. I recommend that you don’t waste your time here either.

Its a food joint for the local colleges kids to grab dinner. When college is in session be prepared to wait for a good ten to fifteen minutes in line while hearing the latest college woes and party stories. The food is the same throughout any chain. The parking lot is small and very tight to maneuver.

It’s a standard Chipotle — it just happens to be close to home. In the evenings, the line is literally out the door but the wait is never too long. The staff is usually very friendly and accomodating. That food is what I’ve come to expect from Chipotle — always good.

Don’t you just love it when they open at 11, but at 11:10 you’re still standing outside watching the employees eat? If so, this is your place. Also, they apparently pride themselves on not having all ingredients ready at open… Quality.

I love how fast they move the lines but mostly love that they’re still personable while doing it! Some of the neighborhood is rude but the staff make up for it.

the slowest store I consistently visit. I mean, I LOVE chipotle so it pains me to hate but there is no sense of assembly line efficiency here. I wish I could say it was busy the last three times I went but there were three others in line with standard 1:1 orders– that’s what prompted this review. I’ve felt this way for some time but they are usually pretty busy but even when not taxed the speed of service will prompt me to go elsewhere.

I can’t deny my love for Chipotle. Just can’t There’s something about the swiftness, quality and deliciousness that I can’t deny. This location has adequate onsite parking(about 18 spaces) and its own turning lane off Main St. If you can’t find parking in the lot, hit the streets. Many of the same people are working there whenever I go, so it’s always nice to see a familiar face. Generally there’s some sort of wait(1 – 8 people) but the employees are really efficient. Funny thing is I always see either a gaggle of teenagers or college students on each visit, which used to be highly annoying, but now is just highly entertaining. Seriously, have you ever heard high schoolers talk about themselves and their lives?! Hilarious. This is the closet Chipotle I know of nearest me so of course it’s my number one franchise destination, but if none of the other locally-owned joints tickle your fancy, you could always fall back on dining here.

Since this Chipotle is literally two blocks down the road from me, I go here pretty regularly for lunch and dinner. Although it seems like quite a few of the reviews for this location rate it bad service wise, I’ve never had a problem. Granted, there will be a long line on occasion, but that’s to be expected, as it is a Chipotle. My service is always great and the food is pretty good, except for the chicken. At times the chicken at this location isn’t all that great, and can be fatty and have quite a bit of gristle. Other than that, I think this is a very well managed Chipotle compared to some of the other ones around town. Then again, I might be biassed, as they are basically my neighbor. :-)

DONOT order online for this Chipotle I order online and the food was not ready, or made when I got their. Then when I got home I found they forgot the steak in my burrito WTF. I when all the way back and they treated me like I made the mistake. This is the best Chipotle by far but their online ordering sucks.

Its Chipotle, you know the food. But the service, lets talk about it. I got ignored by the persons fixing my bowl, not once, but twice. Yes I said«persons» because you know how they slide your food down, assembly line style? Well they both did it. They were being talked to by different co workers. SO I would get asked what I wanted, and then the person would continue a conversation with their co worker or start a new one with someone else behind the counter. I got so frustrated by the second person-because I kept repeating myself-instead of repeating myself again, I said«no one is listening!» Rude! If you ask someone a question, wait for the answer, and then follow directions, especially when I said«no cheese… no…wait…no ch…(sigh)». «That will be sixteen dollars.» Did I mention we were the only people in line?

This Chipotle is so ordinary and Chipotle-like it barely needs reviewing. If you still like Chipotle, as I(basically) do, then hooray! This Chipotle is kept to some standard of cleanliness, the servers are generally friendly, and etc. It’s Chipotle! I miss the lime wedges. A lot. Like, a lot a lot. There’s never been a Chipotle with good parking(to preserve the illusion of always being crowded, probably), but this location is especially ridiculous. Always full, crazy drivers zooming around… not more than one Chipotle customer has«illegally» parked at the Penn Station next store. That would be WRONG, of course, but… Also, I’ve never ever ever been here without a line to the door. Ever. Maybe that’s just my luck, like that guy in H2G2 who always gets rained on because he’s a minor rain deity and doesn’t know it… but, there you have it.
