My children(1 and 4) had a wonderful time today at Piccadilly! My son started off with a cooking class; which he really enjoyed. Than had lunch and finished with the toys and play structure. Piccadilly is a great place for indoor play, and the owner is the sweetest lady in the world. I would definitely recommend this place!

I’m writing this sitting at Piccadilly watching my toddler run around and burn off energy. I had to take a couple days off from work to stay home with her on my own because our nanny had a couple days off this week. And of course today the weather is nasty and rainy so playing outside is not an option. I live a few blocks from Piccadilly and this is our first time here. Holy cow what was I thinking not coming in here this past winter?! My daughter LOVES the indoor playground and there’s a great soft crawl-friendly area, too. Plus I was able to actually work while I watched her play, and the coffee/snack/lunch bar is AWESOME. The cost for a come-and-go-as-we-please day pass is only $ 10 and we’re now seriously considering buying a 3-month membership for the brutal winter months when there’s nowhere fun for her to go play. This place is a gem in Bexley!

Comfortable environment for both the children and adults, with a very welcoming owner. Plenty of toys for the children to play with. Beverages are reasonably priced, and the coffee is great. Very bright environment. Will definitely return. :)

Piccadilly is exactly the kind of spot my wife and I have been looking for: a stylish and smart play café with good coffee, good food and a healthy fun environment for the kiddo. You’ll be happy to hear this place starts with the parents in mind. I mean, we had pour-over coffee roasted by Stauf’s, a pressed sandwich with bread from Angry Baker in Olde Town East and a delicious and hearty bowl of chili. Meanwhile, there was great music playing(adult, but kid-friendly), super-fast and complimentary wifi and other friendly parents there to chat with. As for the kids, there’s an area for older kids with a little kitchen, fort, and slide and a padded area that’s perfect for younger kids with tons of toys, book and games. The space is intimate, sunny and casual while still feeling put together and well thought out. There’s a section up front where you can shop for toys(mostly non-plastic), and two big areas in the back(a performance space with padded, tiered seating and an event space for parties and more organized activities). It also happens to be in a really great part of Bexley that makes it easy to swing by the bank, grocery store, get gas, etc on your way to or from. The prices are really affordable too. We paid $ 10 for our kid(with no time limit other than their posted business hours) and another $ 17 for two coffees, the sandwich and chili. We’ll definitely be back!

A great place for a kids party! It’s comfortable for kids and adults. They created a wonderful birthday party for our toddler aged son! I gave them a few details about what he liked and picked a theme(Thomas the train) and they took care of the decorating and the cupcakes matched the theme! They did an awesome job. Very happy.

Yes!!! These guys are doing this right! I am always describing this place to my friends, and when I do, I get more excited to go back the next time. So, take a playground, move it inside, make it look all modern and fun(ikea!!), fill it with a play kitchen, train table, books, crawling baby maze, learning toys, big slide, bigger slide, and everything a baby, toddler, pre-schooler, or young child would want, staff it with people who are fun, smart, and enjoy playing with the kids, surround it in comfortable seating for the adults, and offer a daily menu of coffee, soups, local pastries, snacks, and a short menu of kid– and adult-friendly foods made fresh daily, then you’ve got Piccadilly in Bexley! My son will play there for hours because there is always something to do. I can play with him for a while, then kick back with a mag and a cup o joe for a few while the lovely folks who work there play with him. A little ways back, there is a large projection screen for movies when they have special events, but during normal business hours they have images of animals and landscapes that scroll by while the music plays. Music, I might add, that is non-offensive to kids, but certainly more aimed at the parents. In the back, there is a classroom that opens up to a back patio lounge, and in that classroom they offer all kinds of fun things you can sign up yourself of the kiddos for. We enjoy Messy Art, but there is also music, foreign languages, yoga, big kid art, pottery, and an ever-growing list. They also do special events a few times a month and also have days/times that you can leave the kids there for up to 3 hours for dinner, a craft, play, a movie, and a change into the PJs. Nice alternative to a night with a sitter. I have not yet been to a birthday party there, but I have heard nothing but good things and have seen pictures of kids playing happily and beautiful decorations and food. I am told they will do any theme you can dream up, and if you aren’t too creative, it’s something they enjoy helping you imagine. While you’re racking up your tab with admission($ 10 for one child, $ 5 add’l, discounts at various times of day), food, and drinks, you can also shop! Along the front part of the building, there is a long wall stashed with high-quality, educational, attractive, ever-rotating toys. This has really come in handy when we had a friend’s birthday coming up and hadn’t made time to go out shopping. We will continue to visit Piccadilly, and hope that you will too. It’s a fun way to play with your little ones, and we hope they stay in business for a long time to come.
