What a nice surprise. Traveling through we just decided to give this place a try. Food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Some unique choices on the menu too. We were here on Labor Day and one of the few groups of people there — our waitress was lovely and pleasant. We had 5 kids and 4 adults and everyone was pleased. Worth the drive from the highway.

I genuinely loved the name and that was really the reason I stopped in. However, thanks to the waitress, I got the best item on the menu. Devil’s Tower burger is perfect if you like spicy. The combination of the generous beef patty that is topped with a chorizo patty! Jalapeños and their house sauce made it delicious. Bread was nice and soft but still doesn’t melt in your mouth.

Ok. So the burgers were great. The fried green tomatoes were cold in the middle(frozen?) Hand cut Fries are tasty but not crispy at all. Service was good. Had some craft beer and local wine. Décor was dated. Definitely a small town feel. Overall good experience, this was our 2nd visit. On our first visit we had the Reuben~ and it was excellent. Yes, we would come back again and recommend it to others.

I love their beer selection. Quite a few different kinds, and it looked like most of them are from Ohio. The food is pretty good and the salad bar is fresh. The staff is very friendly and made sure we had a good experience. I look forward to eating, and drinking, here more often.

We found this restaurant on Unilocal, and are so glad we did! Can’t understand why they weren’t packed, except they are off the beaten path. Well worth the few miles off US35 – they are very welcoming and friendly – willing to share recipes and tips(all except for where they got their name). I had hand-breaded catfish, which was wonderful(homemade tarter sauce was very good too!). My husband got the special of the day – ribs, which were tender & delicious. Salad bar was good – many homemade things. Reasonable prices. We will be back!

A nice local find as our family was driving through Ohio. Great beer selection, friendly waitress, and recommendations include the ‘goose’ fries and ribs.

Have eaten here several times. Have taken visiting friends here also. The goosey fries are great and enough for 2 or 3 people. Friendly and efficient staff. We really like the Berky Burger. Have always been very satisfied when we dined here.

Love the food and the catfish is a must. They do weekly specials with local and exotic game on Fridays. The owner is awesome and will make you feel right at home.

Game night is always a good bet, but when it’s «for the love of bacon» you have to go! Cookies and ice cream is always a great way to finish your meal and Kat Becky and the rest of the staff always make your dining experience memorable! And just tell Kat Porkshank sent ya!

I had the grilled chicken sandwich and steamed broccoli and cottage cheese. Also had an order of Goose Fries which were amazazing. I loved the homemade complimentary rolls. For a first visit ever to this place, it was nice. THE staff was friendly and fast.

This place was cool and the owners take pride in this place. It is out of the way, but it found a little treasure in the middle of nowhere.

Little bit of a drive from 64(5 extra minutes tops) but beyond worth it. Fresh salad and soup bar, homemade fries and chips that were just incredible. Our table had pulled pork sandwich, a Reuben, the hot brown and chicken tenders. Everyone was delighted with their choices, all the food was great and so tasty. Will definitely be stopping there again.

We found this restaurant clean with good food and reasonable prices. I had the ½ rack of ribs, ummm fall off the bone good. The deserts are home made and quite tasty as well. Service is second to none, very efficient yet not overbearing. If like us you’re out cruising on your bike or just a pleasant drive we highly recommend the Wounded Goose as a lunch or dinner stop.
