Big Bear Tattoo

Bill and Ed are awesome they have done almost all my tattoo work and my family’s I drive from victorville to get it done and there definitely not nazis hahaha.

Fuck this place. Tried to squeeze in a minor tat with some friends n they were complete assholes about it. Guess they don’t like business. Don’t go to these douchbags. Nazis

When I went to see if they do piercings they were really rude and the shop was smaller then my living room! They also crowded the drive way leading into the parking lot and would just stand there and not pay attention to traffic trying to pull in to park! I ended up going to another shop that was wayyyy better!

Bill and Ed are the bomb … I have had all my tattoos done here along with the rest of my family. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Amazing work, clean and fun environment.

Doesn’t get any better than this. Both Bill and Ed are true professionals in the industry. Bill did a excellent job with my tattoo. Did a perfect job with what i brought in and made my first tattoo a great experience.
Cost was reasonable, shop is very clean, I would never go elsewhere.

Get tattooed on vacation it’s always a good idea

Went to this place on a whim during my honeymoon to get a Snoopy tattoo I’d been wanting for awhile. They did the legwork to find the exact picture I wanted, then Adrien did a fantastic job making Snoopy look amazing! It’s just the way I wanted it and only $ 60 (the shop minimum). If you’re looking for a great place to walk in for a tattoo, it doesn’t get much better than this.
Update: Went back a year later to get my tattoo touched up, which was included in the original price (free touch-​up within one year if needed). The tattoo artist I had used was gone, and the guy who did my touch-​up, probably one of the owners, acted like he was doing me a huge favor by touching up my tattoo. It’s not my fault the artist I originally used disappeared! He also spent the entire time lecturing me on how to take care of my tattoo — all twenty minutes or so that it spent to touch it up. Miserable second experience.

It’s about time I wrote a review about Ed. He started a sleeve for me back in 02 at a different shop in Anaheim, then moved here. I haven’t made it up to finish it but I have to say his work is the shit! I came in with some h.r. ginger work and said I want it in flames… Oh and the flanmes to be tribal (remember, it was 2002), oh and I want a negative effect… Oh and smoke!!! He took my ridiculous ideas and made it awesome. Not sure when, but someday I will make the trip up there to see Ed.

I had a specific tattoo that I wanted in mind, when I walked into the shop. First of all, I respect the artists that both Bill and Ed are, I looked through their portfolios numerous times, and more than anything else I wanted to make sure that I was going to a good shop, even though I knew that my tattoo wouldn’t require too much. Bill saw the character that I wanted, the size I wanted it, and the color I wanted in and like any good tattoo artist would have said… he told me that he wasn’t comfortable doing the tattoo, because he couldn’t guarantee that I would like the tattoo. I wanted a chinese character (oh Asian girl wanting a chinese character how cliché), an inch and a half tall and in white. Because Bill had a client coming in, I got to sit in Ed’s chair for the very small 2^nd ink job of my life.
The shop was clean, the men funny, and the work that they do is amazing. I would never have the guts to do something so visible. However, if I did I know that I would be in good hands at this shop because of the artistry and care that they show in their work. I would highly recommend this shop because of the professionalism and because I appreciate people who want to stand by their work.

My Fiancé and I got our full sleeves from Bill… We make the 4 hour drive to get our tattoos because Bill and Big Bear Tattoo are the BEST!
(Not to mention I have ralphed about 4 separate times from the mountain drive but the tattoo outweighs the motion sickness every time)
My tattoo turned out more beautiful than I could’ve ever imaged. All the guys in the shop are very nice and down to earth. It’s a great environment and I recommend anyone to go there and get work done.

I can also speak for the other artists as well… Ed does AWESOME color tattoos! Gus is very talented as well.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! My first experience at Big Bear Tattoo was a couple of years ago. I got a beautiful tattoo from Bill. I’ve since been back multiple times with my husband who often gets work from Edwin. Everyone in the shop is professional, courteous and friendly. The price is pretty good as well. I would highly recommend this place.

Got my first tat here – Gus was great! Very patient when I started to get a little light-​headed. Nobody told me it felt like a razor sliding across your skin! It healed up so well there was absolutely no stinging or any other after-​pain. I would highly recommend this place!
