Best restaurant on the hill. They have the most delicious burgers and salads. Great service. If you get the chance to stop sit outside on the deck so you can overlook the great view of the mountains and water.

Excellent home made food. Loved the zucchini pie and Hugo’s Torte. Good vegetarian and vegan options.

My friends and I went to the Priest Station once. The food was barely edible. What made it worse is the hundreds of flys all over the place and food. Should have really turned around when I saw the fly strips hanging from the cealing. Not worth going back.

Sometimes I love going to some places for reasons other than just food and this is definitely one of those places. I want to say they make food really well. But other stuff is even better. Lot of times I get up early in the morning and drive to Yosemite. This place is a great stop to grab a brunch and head for a hike. Food:(8⁄10) Basic american brunch. But enough choices for red/white meat/veg. etc. Good coffee. Ambience:(9⁄10): They have an open deck looking over the valley. :) Service:(10/10): I have been there 4 times and was always very well attended. Owner is very friendly and always ready to have a great chat. That just takes the whole experience to a next level. I am going in nostalgia. But imagine this: You are sitting out on an open deck in great weather. You are on your way for a hike/backpacking in the valley. Then you have engaging conversation about great hikes in the park/camping sites with the owner. You discuss varied topics over the coffee and head out for a hike suggested by him. Now days such experiences are rare. Value for money:(9⁄10) A standard breakfast costs about $ 13 with coffee. If you share with someone then even cheaper. Overall Rating: 9⁄10

Went here for an early dinner on a sunny day. Patio is the way to go, with fresh air and rolling valley views. Gluten free so I got the indigeny cider, a burger w/no bun with spinach and feta, and German cheesecake(made with ricotta and has no crust). Everything was delicious and it is a solid meal compared to other offerings in the area. The German cheesecake is made fresh by Helga, one of the owners of German descent and it is yummy! My husband got the soup of the day — tomato basil and Bobbys salad and loved both. Wonderful spot to get delicious food, would definitely recommend.

This is a fun atop at sunset with outdoor dining at the top of the grade with a great view. My daughter ordered the German 3 course meal that included an exceptional salad and roll. Her dinner choice was the German meatballs with rice and greenbeans which were good… but not great. Her dessert… black forest cake… was also just good. My vegan hamburger and fries were amazing and the service was friendly. You must order the dinner roll… or two… like a pretzel from heaven.

We stopped off on our way to Half Dome Village and could not have made a better decision. Prices are good, food is great, and the location is amazing. If you’re hungry or even remotely thinking you could eat stop here. BLAT was spot on and the meatball zucchini and rice soup was delicious.

Nice spot. Clean and friendly once the opened up to you. I arrived a bit before 11 and was told I had to decide immediately if I wanted breakfast as they were switching to lunch menu… Ummm? Can I sit down first? As it was a Sunday, and the large group that came in right behind me wanted breakfast and were told no… I think they should rethink a longer breakfast time on the weekend. Just saying! I did get my breakfast: a yummy spinach and poached egg atop an English muffin. Nothing fancy… came with a bowl of not ripe fruit for $ 10. I think if they realized the melon was hard as a rock, they could have said let’s sub to potatoes or something. It was a good sandwich, but not worth the price point(maybe add some hollandaise sauce and it would be on point… again, just saying!) The menu looked varied, so I think I will give it a go again next time I roll towards Yosemite.

This was perfect timing for a lunch stop after leaving the Bay Area heading to Yosemite. The food was ok and somewhat average. Some interesting things on the menu. The views were fantastic for outdoor dining. Everyone was very pleasant and engaging.

Dog and EV(electrical vehicle) friendly. They serve our dog first, love it. They do not have an EV charging station yet but will offer a 120V outlet, if needed(you will need an extension cord). Great natural, healthy food and friendly service, consistently. Specials every weekend, make sure to try the ribs. The view of the canyon and soaring birds is the best of any restaurant on Highway 120.

A nice place to stop by on your way to Yosemite. It’s located just outside of the park. We went at the beginning of April, and the weather for outdoor seating was perfect. Recommend sitting outdoors to enjoy the view and the nice breeze. Ambience is casual, comfortable and great for conversation. Food quality is good(for what you get around Yosemite!). A good time was had by all.

Rode by this place many times but never stopped to eat here before. Gathered a few riders and came over for a Easter Sunday lunch. Ordered a blue cheese burger with sweet potato fries. Beef patty is cooked nicely with excellent flavor. After the lunch we continue the trip down golden chain highway(HW49) to Mariposa. What a view.

Can’t beat the view or the location. A hidden gem on your way to Yosemite. As for the food, basic American. The rib eye steak sandwich was better than any I’ve had. And the side salad had a nice touch of thinly chopped celery. The iced tea seemed fresh brewed — important to any iced tea drinker. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been here three times, every time I’ve come down to Yosemite from the Bay Area. And the café has churned out some good, 5-star quality food for its pricing and category. The burgers are solid, the fries tasty, and the appetizers delicious. I love this place, especially because you can’t miss it. I definitely recommend this place!

This is a restaurant on the steep drive to Yosemite. It might not be amazing food, but a beer and the view from the deck make everything better. Evidently burgers are their specialty, so I opted for the Cowboy. Barbecue sauce, onion rings, bacon… those are good things to put on a burger, and the flavors were there. Unfortunately, it was drastically overcooked, but at least the sweet potato fries were on point. The Vegan Sandwich was unsurprisingly not good in any way. You might be asking yourself why anyone would order a vegan sandwich… well, you can ask my wife. I’ve stopped trying to figure such things out.

Stopped here here on our 3 day road trip throughout southern to northern California and I have to say this has been our worst experience yet. How do you serve burnt eggs in an omelette & old smashed, soggy almost spoiled fruit… And the biscuits and gravy minus well have been biscuits and lard. To top it off, the cashier with the tattoo on her forarm was rude. I highly recommend you keep driving the extra Miles to the next stop.

Stopped here on the way home from Yosemite. They are very stringent about letting non customers use the bathroom. And for good reason. First of all in the 45 mins we say their having lunch no less then 15 car loads stopped by wanting to use it second, they were so clean!!! Ok enough about that. The food. The kids LOVED their nuggets. I ordered the bratwurst plate. Really good sausage and the BEST sauerkraut I’ve ever had. And this coming from someone who’s a native Wisconsinite. My husbands burger was delicious. Great BBQ flavor. You won’t regret stopping here.

Run by good people in my opinion… They are good but then again, there isn’t much around to chose from so I’m glad the only place is good. Service is friendly and warm. I think you get served by the owner basically. The food was solid, I wasn’t blown away but again, for where we were I had no complaints. We did save room for dessert since we overheard our waitress say that it is homemade by her Mom. We had the tort and enjoyed it for that very reason, made by Mom.
