I travel extensively for business and the Inn at the Rustic Gate by far is the cleanest property I have ever visited. The ambiance is inviting and the Innkeepers are gracious and warm. This is a beautiful place with fantastic food and wonderful hosts. Chef Sharon cooks with local ingredients – and the eggs at breakfast are the best I have ever had – organic, fresh and delicious. The breakfast granola was a nice treat and a great take-home snack.

We have never stayed overnight but have used this facility for a retreat, graduation lunch, and a birthday brunch. It is a warm wonderful place that is relaxing. The owners do a good job with food prep and presentation and it taste great. The dining room table seats 14 with another smaller table of 10 – 12. Nice relax seating area with books and a tv. An external building is available for large group meetings or retreats. They have wireless for Internet support. Visit their website for more information:

Really enjoyed my stay here. I went for a Yoga retreat. The facilities were very comfortable and worked out great for the retreat. I enjoyed hearing stories from the Inn Keepers. They were VERY nice(unlike the other review posted below). The food was AMAZING!!! I left the retreat relaxed, inspired to cook, and thankful for the experience. Thank you Pat, Marcia, & Sharon. I truly enjoyed the stay.

Although this place is in a beautiful setting and the inside is decent the people that run it are natzis. The women who own this place live there as well and believe me when I say this is their house. It felt like I was being watched at every turn and being told where to go and to make sure I did things a certain way while staying there. I felt like I was 8 years old living with my parents. My wife also experienced the same thing. I would not recommend this place at all.
