Burlington Coat Factory

Love the shoe department in this Burlington Coat Factory! I always find the best boots here in the winter! AND, they always have the best dresses in the women’s department. Not too sure about it being a «coat» factory… I went here one day when I forgot my coat as I live about 45 minutes from my boyfriends house and we were going to New Hampshire for the weekend and there were absolutely NO winter jackets in the middle of February. HMMM?

Great prices on clothing. Jewelry is cheap and not that inexpensive. They have cleaned up the store over the past year and it looks nice. I do not like how they no longer display shoes… They are all on racks now so it is hard to see what they have. Also, never trilled with the coat selection. I always think of this store when I need a coat and never have bought one from here… The selection is bare. Great place to buy kids clothes and random housewares items.

Definitely a store i will return to, got courteous service, had products i was looking for and great bargains to boot… a bargain hunting paradise…

Great place to shop for cheap name brand clothes for the kids. And the shoe dept is great, they have so many great styles I love. The staff is friendly and the store is clean.

I enjoy shopping at Burlington Coat Factory because while there’s definitely a good deal of junk, when you do find something great you’re paying a lot less for it. They also have no reservations about passing out coupons, so even though there aren’t frequent in-​store sales, chances are you’ll get a coupon at the register.
This particular location’s interior has shuffled around a few times. The current layout has moved most of the womens’ clothes straight up to the front and expanded the shoe section. However, the dressing rooms are terrible now! They’re secluded in this squishy little corner, so it’s very difficult to get in and out if there are other people around. There’s only one hook per stall as well, which seems a bit stingy. On the plus side, the pervasive buzzing sound is gone! For the longest time there was always a loud buzzing sound coming from the lights (or vents?) that could be heard all throughout the store.
Prices here are pretty good. In general you’ll be paying less for what you get, but you do have to weed through some of the cheaper, lower-​quality garments. The petite department usually has a pleasantly large selection, and there’s also an expansive juniors department.
Of course, there are lots of great coats! The coats here are great prices, and the selection is huge. This is definitely a place you should check out if you’re hunting around for a winter coat or raincoat.
The shoe department is kind of a hit-​or-​miss. Most of the brands stocked are cheaply made and low quality, but sometimes you can find a real steal. My favorite lucky find was a pair of all-​leather pewter-​colored Dr. Scholls flats for $ 20!
If you’re on a tight budget and enjoy hunting around for decent goods at low prices, this is definitely a store that should be on your radar.

We visited this place this past weekend as we had a personalized coupon (20% off) from signing up at their website. Our goal was to purchase a piece of large sized luggage and we spent quite a bit of time examining the various pieces that were available. The selection was smaller than the last time we shopped for luggage (last year) but the selection of items were different this time. I was impressed by the colorful hard-​shelled luggage but alas, the person actually buying the luggage wanted something else. Eventually, we did manage to pick out a decent piece that seems to be sturdy yet light.
During this visit, I was tempted to purchase a few impressive looking paper notebooks. I really liked the design and there were fewer remaining during this visit than on my previous visit 2 weeks ago. However, these notebooks were more suited for personal journal writing /​diaries than what I had planned to use them for.

There are definitely some good bargains to be had in this place, although there is also a lot of crap mixed in. I especially love their home dept, with its cheap, decent-​looking curtains and its expansive selection of table linens. I also found a cool piggy bank that was shaped like gold sequined shoe. The only drawback to this place IMO is the loud, clanging noise that always seems to be resonating from the duct-​work in the ceiling. It’s probably just some problem with their heating system, but I swear it sounds like Jeepers Creepers is coming to get me.
