Jack’s Used Auto Parts

Been using Jack’s for 15 or so years now. Good guys, they won’t screw you. It’s a junk yard! These other reviews are ignorant. I repeat — Jack’s is a junk yard! What kind of customer service do you really expect?

Make sure you pay attention to that obscure sign that is sideways on the open gate so you can’t notice it going in. It says to check in any parts that you are bringing with you. I didn’t notice it.
They then check your bags on the way out and if they find even your own broken parts they will charge you top dollar for your broken parts or threaten to call the cops and also charge you for towing your car away from their lot. I didn’t buy on E-​Bay but went there hoping to support a local business but got caught in this scam. Not going back.

These people are a bunch of scum bags.
My boyfriend and I purchased a car for $ 1000 that needed some frame work done. While waiting for the car to be towed to the repair shop in, the car was «broken into» and the catalytic converter was ripped out of the car. They refused to replace the converter and only offered to pay $ 800 back for the car. Meanwhile, we were unaware that there was any break-​in so we had the frame work done, which costs an additional $ 350.
The guy at the repair shop informed us that there was an issue with the catalytic converter. When questioning Jack’s at first, they claimed they were unaware that anything had happened, although the guys at the repair shop said the driver at Jack’s was the one who told him about the issue in the first place! When Jack’s was confronted about this, they claimed the break in didn’t happen on the property. Very sketchy and ridiculous!
THANKS FOR NOTHING!

Awful. They sat on my order for a week, don’t return emails, don’t return telephone calls. Rude when they actually answer the phone.

If I could give a negative star I would!
They just don’t CARE about customer service and that’s to bad. I used to go here back in day (the 90“s) when I was building my cars and it was actually a good junkyard to get parts. They even used to treat you like a human being!
Fast forward to today and it’s just gotten worse!
Unless you really need it, go somewhere else!

It’s like they don’t want you to shop here. Incredibly disorganized. No sense of customer service at all. Buy the parts new, don’t waste your time here.

Same story as other reviewers. Was told over the phone they had my part on a car in the lot… Spent 40 minutes to get there… wasted an hour looking for car or part. Turns out they never had it. No apology or anything like it. They acted as is I was the one wasting their time.

If I could give it less stars I would. I ordered a fuel tank for a 2003 Kia Optima on 11/​05/​2013, finally on 11/​09/​2013 I received a fuel tank, however it was for a Nissan Altima. While waiting for them to get the right fuel tank I was able to fix the one that came out of the car, so I cancelled the order and told them to come pick up the fuel tank & refund my money. On 11/​12/​2013 they send a driver up with the right fuel tank, after I told them I no longer needed it. When I explained this to the driver they tried to take the tank they delivered with out giving me a refund. Today I am running around talking to the guys there trying to figure out when I’m going to see my money & them pick up the tank… Just don’t do business with them, it’s not worth the headaches!

Waste of time! Place is so disorganized. Called for a rim on a specific car, they said they had it still on the car. Drove an hour and a half to find out they didn’t have the rim, they never had it. Couldn’t even find the car it was suppose to be on. How do you loose a car?! They said that shit happens all the time. Complete chaos!
