I have to give living stones five stars because it is one of the last fish stores in town.

They don’t make places like this anymore. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by the owner, and the quality of the food and service, we realize we were in a very special place. If you enjoy seafood and the famed Massachusetts cuisine, don’t pass on this gem of a place! And if you are from Vegas tell the owner his son Chubba sent you!

Amazing seafood. Went here while visiting from Va. A very typical New England seafood spot. Super friendly staff and atmosphere. Def will be back when we visit Mass again!

Best fried clams in the Merrimac Valley area! Staff was great, Resturant was clean and loved how the owner came over to table to see how everything was. My son had scallops and clams, fresh cut onion rings and homemade Coleslaw and his meal was delish(and serving size is HUGE, took half home)

Ok where do I start. Oh yes waited 40 minutes for the order only to be told that the sandwich was not made because they had no chicken. Are you kidding? #2 asked for more than one small thing of tartar sauce was told no. Ordered a large fry and it had about 20 fries in it. This place is a complete rip-off .do not go here !!

This was my first and last time ever going to this place. I got the fried scallop dinner plate and it was the smallest seafood plate I have ever gotten. The plate was $ 22 and was not worth $ 10. The plate came with about eight little scallops and terrible French fries. If you’re going to drive out of your way to drive here, buy a panini or sub. For the price of that seafood plate, I will never ever go back. Mikey’s roast beef in Billerica hands down has the biggest and best fried seafood plates around.

This family has always run a great business and this place is no exception. We drive all the way from north Chelmsford at lunch time to pick up sandwiches here, there is no comparison around. Can not say enough great things.

«Best Rubin» I have come here several times, each time I try something different. Today I had the Rubin which was excellent, I have had it 2 or 3 times and feel it is the best Rubin in there area. Last time I had the Fried clams which were excellent as well. Great family run business

I didn’t even know this place existed until I saw it on Unilocal.I looked up the menu online and it looked like my kind of place. Today was my second visit. The first time I ordered one of the sandwiches on the specials board — roast beef, roasted red peppers, grilled onions, and cheese on marble rye — Scotties Special. It was great. That was last week. Today I ordered the Reuben. I’m not a Reuben expert so I don’t have much to compare it to. I will say that this was one of the best and most satisfying sandwich of any kind that I have EVER had. I’m not sure what I’m getting next time. If the pastrami is like what I’ve had so far then that’s next. They also have a Thanksgiving sandwich on the specials board. If it’s there next week then pastrami may be in for a fight. I’m going to really miss this place when we move to Florida.

My husband and I were visiting some friends from out of state. Of course being in New England I wanted to find the best clam chowder. When we arrived I Unilocaled locales seafood places and this came up. So glad we chose this place. It’s a small restaurant but when you walk in the smell is amazing. My husband and I ordered the clam strip dish and a bowl of clam chowder. Wow, the clam chowder was phenomenal. The clam strips had a nice light breading on them and a side of fries. Between the husband and I splitting, the portion was more than enough. The owner even came out and chit chatted with us a bit. This will now be a first stop when we come back into town.

Visited Livingstone’s for the first time and it will not be the last. Met friends for lunch traveling from New Hampshire. Outstanding fried clam dinner, onion rings, cole slaw, and service. Don’t need to drive to the beach for great seafood. This place is worth the ride. We’ll be back.

OMG! Fred and his seafood dishes are back. We had the clam chowder and fried Haddock Dinner. Excellent. The haddock was lightly battered then fried perfectly. The chowder was spot on. My wife ate the entire bowl then had some of the fish and fries. The place is in an odd corner on Rt 3A. It is definitely worth your while finding this excellent seafood place.

Stopped by here after work one night this week, as I heard good things about it. I got a lobster roll and some clam chowder, and they were both really good. I particularly liked the lobster roll, and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and tasty it was. Even in New England, it is not always easy getting a good lobster roll! They were busy, and the staff was working really hard. I would have given it another star, but I feel that they could use more staff there. The atmosphere was pretty nice as well, and they had a good size eating area, though we did take out. I would definitely go back and recommend this place.
