It’s like moms cooking but you don’t have to do the dishes when you’re done! I love this place, family friendly and tastes good too!

My favorite lunch place! Homemade meals on a cold winter day are always good here! The ultimate grilled cheese my favorite and you can never go wrong with the special, whatever it may be!

What a fantastic place! One of the biggest things I miss after moving away from Billings is the Red Rooster. Great food and even better service. Misty is amazing. Check it out, but be prepared to be hooked.

Great breakfasts! Try it out. French toast and buckwheat pancakes are a hit. Preserves of strawberry. Local honey. Homemade pies and cinnamon buns.

The biscuits and gravy is very over priced for what you get, the flavor was good but there wasn’t any chunks of sausage in the gravy, it was probably made from just left over grease. Biscuits were fresh.

«Mom and Pop» gets thrown around a lot these days. This place is truly biult upon recipes passed down through generations. Everything is from scratch. I you want a meal that feels like you just got done working the fields and are headed to the farmhouse for some home cooking, this is the place to go. They also have top notch preserves.

This is a small, locally owned and operated neighborhood café that serves only breakfast and lunch and only during the week(closed Sat-Sun). Two quick observations: First, the parking lot is fairly small and there’s no street parking anywhere nearby as their located in a strip mall along two very busy streets(Broadwater &15th). Second the dinning room is very small with around 10 tables then 10 stools at the counter. Go early. My brother and I went for lunch. I ordered the Albacore Tuna sandwich on wheat with a potato chip side. That was a mistake. I should have ordered their homemade soup as a side instead. Next time I will. Homemade? Yes. As are most every food item they serve outside of the ketchup bottle. My sandwich was fresh and delicious. Normally, I would have ordered the tuna sandwich without the advertised tomato and sweet relish. But I decided to eat the sandwich the way the owner intended so I ordered it unaltered and was damn glad I did. I couldn’t put my finger on what made the sandwich so good until our waitress told me the sweet relish was also homemade and they used zucchini. Incredible! The relish, along with the thin slice of tomato, went so well with the homemade tuna giving it a nice sweet subtle tang while the tomato simply made it juicier. Great idea! Took about 5 minutes longer than I’m used to waiting for lunch so keep that in mind. The interior is clean and the café-style tables and chairs are a LOT more comfortable than they look. The chairs had padding galore and were very comfortable. They don’t serve breakfast during the lunch hour. The bread used for the sandwiches is dense and fresh and delicious. Bön Appetit!

The best chicken fried steak I have had in Billings. As you have seen I’m a old school chef that loves from scratch cooking. This place is a class act no nuke food her friends. A little higher in price not much but anytime you get quality you will pay a little more. From homemade press and jellies not deep fried but fried on the griddle chicken fried steak real hand made biscuits you can’t go wrong. I encourage you to stop in

This place is adorable and delicious! They have great food only one server but she did great. Wonderful selection of home jelly. All and all good place for breakfast. Wish it was open on the weekend though.
