Overpriced for what you get, seriously in need of updating, carpet cleaning and maintenance. The woman at the front desk at check in was friendly and helpful. The room was ok just average, but the carpets were not clean. Upon checking out in the morning, the desk person did not ask how my stay was or if everything was satisfactory. The sink in the bathroom did not drain properly. I would expect to pay about $ 50-$ 60 for a room of this quality but was charged $ 75.00. Not sure if I would stay here again even though it is very convenient to the airport.

The Rimview was very kind to us. There was a rodeo going on and not a single room available in town. My husband just got released from the hospital, and we were desperate. Its not fancy, but our room was clean and the tv was a nice flatscreen. The room was very large. We got a ride to the airport the next morning. I would stay there again, and the price was great!

This place is like a horror film. Do not stay here. It smells like smoke. It is not clean. It is scary. Basically staying at the Bates Motel(Psycho). I thought it was pretty clean until I realized the the grout in the bathroom was not originally black. At least there weren’t bed bugs. But the fact that I found it necessary to check is not a good sign.

After driving for 10 hours, we show up to a rude front desk staff. We had originally booked two rooms and cancelled one earlier that day. Well, the front desk mixed up the cancellation, leaving four of us wondering how we were going to sleep in one king bed. They very rude and raised there voices acting like it wasnt there fault. They said there was nothing they could do, as the hotel was full. I had called 4 hours prior to even confirm everything. Then after agreeing to a rollaway, the price didnt match up with price so i had to pull up the internet confirmation to prove to them the correct place. Horrible small impossible to maneuver parking lot with a normal size truck. Room and shower was clean, that was the only plus. Will NEVERSTAYHEREAGAIN.

No disrespect to the previous posters, but 5 stars? Really? Three stars is being kind, in my opinion… and I just can’t quite go there either. We stayed here while my mom was having surgery across the street. Here is a breakdown of the good and the not-so-good aspects of this motel: 1. The good: They have 24-hour shuttle service to and from the airport. I called at 11:45PM and was picked up 5 minutes later. The bad: the woman who picked me up wasn’t terribly hospitable. 2. The good: they have«non-smoking» rooms. The bad: I could tell when someone in a nearby room was smoking. 3. The good: There are adjustable thermostats. The bad: mine didn’t actually work. My room was incredibly stuffy and uncomfortably warm. 4. The good: the sheets and towels were clean. The bad: things like the box spring cover and the bathroom walls had splatters of God-only-knows-what on them so that no matter how rationally I told myself that the«important» stuff was clean, I still felt grossed out. 5. The good: HBO. The bad: «fuzzy» HBO… fuzzy channels in general. 6. The good: the room had a small kitchenette. The bad: I was surprised to end up with a flooded floor and wet feet when I ran the water to make coffee. I don’t know if the drain pipe was completely missing or what, but it sure seemed that way. And in my haste to turn off the water and stop the large puddle from making its way to the carpet, I somehow got a nasty cut on my finger. Thankfully I have a recent tetanus shot. 7. The good: the people working the desk when we checked out were very nice. The bad: the evening/night shift people were kind of strange and somewhat inhospitable. 8. The good: they’ve got free wifi. The bad: it’s not secure so I felt uncomfortable working on sensitive business documents. 9. The good: the motel is literally right across the street from the Billings Clinic. The bad: Given the location of the motel, it is pretty much guaranteed to get a lot of business. Instead of making an investment in the business and sprucing up the rooms, my impression is that there seems to be more of a «why bother, we’re going to get the business anyway» attitude to the maintenance of the building. If, God forbid, we have need to come to the Billings Clinic again, I will forego the convenient location of the Rimview motel in favor of… somewhere else.

In a lovely setting with its own little shaded park, the Rimview Inn is a local gem: retro but not precious, centrally situated but not frantic, casual but not ragged. A large aquarium in the office is home to many beautiful and friendly tropical fish. Easygoing, cheerful staff provide a spacious, clean room with lounge chair, table, microwave, fridge, and ironing board(!). All of the above sets this place apart from similarly priced, Interstate-dwelling chains; but, the compelling reason for a Rimview stay is location, location, location. It sits across the street from Dehler Park, home of the Cincinnati Reds’ rookie league affiliate team. Box seats behind first base will set you back five dollars, and you’ll be close enough to hear on-field chatter. There is no finer tonic for weary travelers than a short, pleasant walk to the human-scaled joys of minor league baseball. If you’re passing through Billings in the summertime, give the Rimview a try. It’s an extra-bases pleasure !
