Walked in with a mac that wouldn’t boot up. I needed a single file off of it for a presentation I’m giving tomorrow. They wanted $ 450 between a rush charge, a diagnostic charge, and the charge to pull the file. Absolutely ridiculous. I asked if they would let me use their mac screwdriver to get into the back of the macbook so I could try and pop the battery connection and try rebooting it that way, they wouldn’t let me. It would have taken two minutes to do so, tops and I would have even paid for that. I will never go here again and I reccomend nobody else to do so either.

I was traveling to Helena, MT with my mother and my partner so we could visit my aunt. I was having trouble with my iPhone 6 Plus(touch screen was not responding). Simply Mac in Billings was on the route, so we decided to stop to see if they could help me. The young man that I spoke to immediately knew what was wrong with the phone(an issue with wires that had come loose and needed to be reseated). The technician was able to fix my phone while we waited. The fix took less than an hour. When the technician brought my phone out to me, he told me that he had reseated the wires but that they are literally microscopic, so he couldn’t guarantee that the phone would work long-term. He told me that they sometimes work but often need to be replaced by Apple. The phone worked for another week — getting me through my vacation. When I returned home, the problem was occurring again, so I ultimately had to go to the Apple Store to have the phone replaced. Nonetheless, I appreciated the quick service and the knowledgeable staff. Great job guys!

This is THE place to go for Apple/Macintosh service and products in Billings. Unlike computer village, they stock a large arrangement of third party apple products, which are typically better than the stock Apple products. For example, Moshi manufactures high quality, long lasting merchandise that comes with longer warranties than Apple’s products. The staff genuinely cares that their customers are satisfied, compared to my experiences at Computer Village this is quite refreshing. I went into Simply Mac yesterday to have a couple screws tightened on my iPhone and MacBook Pro. They did this job promptly and at no cost to me. Small services like this indicate they want to keep their customers continually satisfied and long lasting. I’ve been in a few other times for essential Apple products and was not disappointed. The store is easy to navigate and I found the product quickly and in-stock. Of course the staff was eager to help and made certain I found everything I was looking for. Having worked extensively at a very similar third party Macintosh shop in Los Angeles, called Machollywood, I give professional validation to this business. If you’re experiencing any Macintosh problems I strongly suggest calling them or stopping by the shop. The most important factor to take away from my review is noting Simply Mac’s attentive customer service. You can trust this business with your personal or business computers with no worries, which is utmost priority in the computer service and repair business. I can’t say enough positives about this company. Thanks Simply Mac!

Amazing service! Had my MacBook Pro rebooted this summer at Best Buy. They left out 2 programs: iPhoto and Microsoft Office. Stopped back in a couple times to see if they would reinstall the two missing programs. They wouldn’t do it without a substantial charge. I walked into Simply Mac and told Justin about my situation. He said he could immediately take care of it. Plugged my computer into the Matrix and had iPhoto installed along with iLife 2011, and downloaded Microsoft Office within an hour. Took care of everything. Will be back.
