Not what I would call dirty but not clean either. The building is dated(not in a good way) and in what feels like an odd place. Truly it’s a convenient location if you’re going to be on the west end however it feels like an industrial area. I only interacted with the front desk clerk briefly, he was friendly and helpful. The room was a disappointment for the price tag but when I was shopping around it seemed that all Billings area hotels were over priced. While I didn’t notice any bugs or things that were obviously filthy, the walls and carpets were stained and the bathroom door had been hastily repaired. The mattress had a waterproof covering over it which just screams«Yuck!» to me. I did not look at the sheets as it was about 2 am when I got in and I didn’t want to go looking for a new hotel. I would not be surprised to find the bedding stained and gross. The breakfast was low end hotel grab and go fare and is not worth paying any extra money for as I would have been happier going to the McDonald’s down the street. My extended family has been talking of doing a family reunion in Billings with the Super 8 being the hotel of choice, I assume based on price. While I stayed here for a night I would not want my grandmother in this hotel and I will be strongly pulling for some place else, likely the Holiday Inn Express as others in that chain have exceeded expectations. I probably would have been just as satisfied sleeping in my rental car as I was the Super 8. Someone in a previous review mentioned getting a room for $ 50 and at that price point this becomes a decent hotel but I paid closer to $ 120 when it was all said and done, at that price the only thing saving this from a one star is the good desk clerk and that other hotels in the area were equally expensive.

Seemed very reasonable for the price. Everything was comfortable and while not perfectly clean, I paid $ 50 through priceline for a single bed room with microwave, refrigerator, A/C, TV, free WiFi. The neighborhood is fine, just out of downtown.

I am really not sure why this hotel’a ratings are so low. Don’t get me wrong if you are looking for things wrong, you can find them. But if you just need a reasonable value of a hotel this is the place to go. The bed was comfortable and although the breakfast wasn’t elaborate, it was still a free breakfast. They are really good with allowing pets. The manager Dennis provided excellent guest service to us. We actually messed up our booking and he went above and beyond to help us. Would go there again absolutely!

Clean bathroom n bed but super stained carpet like coffee stains. Friendly staff but will stay elsewhere next visit. Seedy/industrial part of town. WILLSPEND20MOREJUSTTOGET A CLEAN hotel.
