First of all, I wouldn’t be at all worried that your credit card info is in any trouble whatsoever if you come here. YES, there was an invasion of their system last year– here and at several other major retailers. It’s not the retailers fault and since then they have upped security measures. As far as I know no one was actually harmed by the invasion of security as most banks responded almost immediately by closing cards and sending out new ones. That being said, this store is only OK in my opinion. I don’t believe I’ve been asked even once if I needed help with anything. When I did need help getting a game I pre-ordered a while back I tried to ask a group of five guys in Target shirts standing their talking in the games section if they had to get it for me, but was completely ignored. I then went up to the register with all of my info, my original pre-order card, and something that you could also buy that day to get a gift card with the game. When showing the pre-order card to the lady at the register she tried to charge me again for the pre-order card, and looked at me like I was a complete idiot when I tried to explain to her that I was here to pick up the game. She ended up having to call another person over and I had to explain it several more times. Finally when the third person came over I was told to go back to the electronics department and get the game myself. So back to the department I walk, and end up walking by the same employees still chatting away rather than doing anything significant or work related. I found a copy of the game out on the shelf and had to grab that, rather than one I know should’ve been on hold as a pre-order. I guess that was their problem though. I was a little irritated I had to walk back, I feel like if you make a mistake like that customer service should be able to get the game for you or at least offer to help you go back and find it– not just tell you to go back and get it yourself. On another occasion(a special limited edition release of a game system) I went to stand in line at this Target early. Not too long after I got there a guy came up to me and shoved his way off to the side of me. There clearly was no line after that as he stood right next to me, as close as he could. This would’ve been okay– had the guy handing out tickets for said exclusive game system not only had five tickets. Guess which number the guy that shoved his way in and I was in line? That’s right, number five! The man handing out tickets directly skips me and hands it to the guy instead. So five guys and zero girls get tickets for this game system, and it wasn’t even questioned that I was in line or waiting. He completely refused to acknowledge me. I tried to talk to him and he just kept walking away. Seemed kind of sexist to me, but what do I know? I do love this store for all of the amazing stuff they carry and the great deals, but the customer service is severely lacking. Yes, I’ve met some great employees here, but I’ve also met some pretty awful ones.

its hard to come here and worry that your credit card info is safe, yet they have great prices, good staff, but there is a cloud that needs to clear until it does when I have cash I will go there
