We left right after myself and my brother got there because it was to damn loud from karaōke on a Tuesday night after the bar keep Michael wouldn’t turn down the volume a little bit. It’s just ridiculously loud in there for no reason at all.

Too loud, hated the karaōke, too dark and very uncomfortable vibe. I am not really much into the hipster crowd and it’s annoying to have servers constantly harassing you to buy drinks when you say no over 20 times. I did not feel comfortable here as a 22 year old my fiancé stepped outside with a friend and this creepy guy with a hat tried flirting with me and I showed my engagement ring with pride. The drinks were cheap but I don’t plan on going back because I didn’t like the bar. My past college town had a better bar and people in Idaho respect your budget. I’m not into the bar scene I kept my eyes on my phone to avoid conversation and harassment from the servers. This bar is not meant for introverted people…

Went to comedy there and had the guy «in charge of the whole thing», Wayne, repeatedly grab my wife in sexual ways. When we complained to the guy working the door. The bouncer KICKED US OUT!!! Never again. And I hope I see that little ugly «wayne» walk into my business someday.

We used a
certificate with out any problem. The waitress was terrific. The food was served promptly. The place is dark and had to use a phone to view the menu. I had the chicken strips and fries. They were soggy and bland and tasted like bad grease. My husband had the big a. burger which was over cooked and dry and expensive for a hamburger. We will be back for drinks only… the food was horrible.

Sought this place out based on reviews. As we go to Billings often, we have plenty of favorite places we like to go but we decided to try something new. We weren’t disappointed!
We got served almost immediately and our waitress was very professional. My only complaint or dislike is that it was VERY dark in there and thus hard to read the menu.
Our food was surprisingly very fresh and huge portions. I wasn’t expecting the quality of food we got as this seems more of a bar hangout and what a wonderful surprise. My husband remarked that the chicken Caesar salad he had was one of the best he’s ever ordered. I had the Red Door Dip, and was only able to eat half. .only cuz it was so big but very very tasty. I had the side salad and that was terrific as well.
We definitely will be repeat customers although we will probably come back at lunch rather then in the evening. It is definitely a young crowd on the weekends!

Loved it, stopped there with a pal a while back… Cheap drinks, good management and a nice patio where we finished up our boozing and headed out. Not too many squeaky clean places to party at in Billings, to be honest. This is the right joint for a quiet date or a bachelor party that you don’t want to get out of control…

Just a chill bar with karaōke. A little more upscale than just your average bar. Nice crowd of people. Good drinks, good food and a casino next door. Great for a night out with friends.

Hubby and I stopped here for dinner one night at the end of our vacation, cheese tries and cheese sticks are the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the bbq chicken sandwich. Absolutely amazing. Elderly father in law who doesn’t eat a lot ordered a huge taco salad… GONE. so glad we are moving to Montana next week. This place just became my favorite!!!

Awesome place to watch comedy! Really great menu, I recommend the waffle fries! Very affordable drinks. Waitstaff is all super nice! I will be coming back

Big Ass Burger was the best I have had in town! Fire grilled to order and the only place that has waffle fries that I know of. The Fish Tacos were very good, nice & spicy! Good beers on tap too & all refills were quick! Service was spot on — Samantha was very attentive and nice!

My recent visit to the Red Door with a good friend of mine was a very nice experience.
This is more tavern than restaurant but the food, while basic tavern food, is delicious.
We enjoyed iced cold tap beer while sitting out on their patio. Our server was «Johnnie-​on-​the-​spot» and very polite and friendly. Sort of a surprise to me as I was expecting a surly curmudgeon.
We dined on two appetizer plates which was enough to fill us both up. The cheese sticks were as good as most. Soft, chewy. The breaded steak bites are my favorite. A little tough, but very tasty dipped in their homemade ranch dressing. The only thing I didn’t care for were the chicken wings. I liked that they weren’t breaded, but the sauce was a little overwhelming and the wings they used were frozen (black bones, dead giveaway).
I did not venture inside and did not use the bathrooms. I used to hate this place back when they allowed smoking inside. You simply couldn’t breathe.
The patio is nice this time of year but is located on the south side of the building so it will be sweltering come summer.

This place is great. Not only do they serve the best beer in Montana in a can (the brewer doesn’t keg it outside their Missoula brewery), Kettlehouse Brewering Cold Smoke Scotch Ale but they have solid bar food as well.
I slip down here every now and then for a business lunch or to get some work done over a beer with their free wi-​fi and close location to my house. I typically avoid it in the evenings because the crowds are too huge.
