I have now had this place twice and it hasn’t been great at all. When calling to place an order you aren’t greeted, given a price or a time when your food will be ready for pickup. I got the fried dumplings both times and I will say these were very delicious but the compliments end there. The wonton soup is mediocre. The first time I got sesame chicken as an entrée. The price was good but the chicken was so overcooked, it wasn’t really edible. I had a few pieces but ended up throwing the rest away. The next time I ordered from here, I’d thought I’d give it one more chance and order chicken fried rice because you can’t really mess that up, right? Nope, I was wrong. The taste is bland. Some of the rice is still hard and the peas aren’t cooked at all. And there is barely any chicken. I will not be returning back to this place unless I only get the dumplings. If you mess up fried rice and you’re a Chinese restaurant, that’s my cue.

A good Chinese restaurant but nothing special. We had the Hunan beef and Orange chicken were decent but hard to botch. Their Hunan beef was not spicy as I would expect. It is a good place for a quite Chinese food fix.

Almost all menu items are $ 8 for most 1 Qt sizes. The fried rice was very good for American-Chinese food and the place seems to be setup as a buffet. I placed an order to go and was ready within 15 minutes. I also noticed in the news paper that they have military discounts so ask for it. Pretty good place to get some Chinese-American food.

Good basic Americanized-Chinese take-out. The hot and sour soup was very tasty — not overly hot, but still savory and flavorful.

Good food. Best Chinese I’ve had in a while. Not most authentic, but better than most buffets on the coast.

I agree in part with Jesse M. when he says the food is best taken home and that it is not authentic. But it is a tad pricey and the staff are not helpful if you ask for their recommendation. I brought home some a la carte items for my friends and me and they were blah at best. The oil they use to fry with may need changing because everything that we tried that was fried taste the same. The house fried rice(*** stars) was actually pretty good but nothing stood out nor do I really remember what I ate. It was all just fried food…

Great little Chinese place. They have a dining area, which I’ve never seen in use. Recommend taking your order home. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Not authentic Chinese food, but far better than the multitude of Chinese buffets that have opened in recent years. In lieu of commenting on Remy’s review, I’ll append my agreement with his comments here. The food IS almost entirely fried, it IS a touch high for take out(although, IMO, the quantity of food you get is acceptable for the price), and the staff is somewhat cold.
