Imperial Palace’s Back Bay Buffet

On my way home now, I forgot to check in, lol Maybe it was because those snow crabs were amazing. Everything was absolutely seasoned and perfect on the buffet. From the delicious mac & cheese to the BBQ Shrimp, was worth the drive from New Orleans! Will be back soon!

This buffet wasn’t nearly as good as Boomtown’s crab legs buffet but I really couldn’t complain as it was free since I am a new player’s club member. The standouts were the Chinese food on the buffet and an amazing selection of tasty and unique desserts. It’s probably worth even paying full fare for this buffet.

On 12÷15÷15, my husband and I went to have lunch at the buffet. We have eaten at this buffet numerous times without incident, but never for lunch during the week, and we will never go during the week again. The selection of food was not nearly what it is on the weekend lunch buffet nor was the food very good. I had the flank steak and it tasted bad which caused me to immediately feel sick. My husband had some of the pork loin and it was dried up and hard. Nothing tasted like it usually does on the weekend which makes me wonder if they were just serving leftovers. When I contacted their customer service department they apologized but made no attempt to make it right. That’s poor customer service.

Pretty mediocre food. We got free buffet because we signed for the players card. It is cold, poor choices, no tasty food. What I ate there were BBQ beans and dessert. That’s pretty bad for any buffet.

It’s okay. Guess cooking in volume, you give up flavor. Thankful it was free because we signed up for a players card. Now I know I won’t spend 27+ for a mediocre buffet. Headed back next month, but will eat somewhere else.

The prime rib was ok… if you can get a decent cut. The tiramisu cake was pretty good. Literally everything else was tasteless or gross. I was very disappointed and the server just had no desire to be there and you could tell. I hope the IP’s other restaurants have better food.

One of my favorite buffet to go to. Has lots of variety. Love going on Sunday cause they have snow crab legs and it’s $ 25 good time to go would be about 7:30 — 8:00

Great prime rib. Great crab legs. Great peel and eat shrimp. Great bacon mushroom oysters. Deserts were lacking. It was $ 24.
Better than Beau Rivage buffet ($ 22). (Unless your looking for crawfish)

Great buffet. One of the best I’ve had. Southern style food, Oriental, Italian. Kind of pricey, though.

I shall add another star as we went last Saturday. Maybe it’s because we had an early dinner (around 1700) that everything was nice and fresh. Was definitely good. I did not get any crab legs as some lady and her husband in scooters basically cleaned the shelves with about 15 plates.

Currently has a“B” food rating. Mediocre food which is about tbd Norm for
Casino, a step above nursing home food.
