There’s not many Korean restaurants down on the Gulf Coast other than Seoul and this place. This restaurant is my favorite out of the two. Their style is not like those all you can eat places but more of a home-cooked type. I really enjoy this place but the service can be slow because it usually being one server.

After a long flight and a 3 hour drive on top of that this hit the spot! Food was wonderful and service was great. Parking was a bit confusing though. But other than that everything was great.

Came here for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Don’t be fooled by the external appearance of this location. You will be pleasantly surprised. Beef Bul Go Gi was seasoned with just the right amount of spicy heat accentuated with generous portions of various Kim Chee and other pickled vegetables. Recommended!

Cleanliness 5⁄5 Service 5⁄5 Food 3⁄5 Family stopped by this Korean restaurant after a show to eat. I’ve had a lot of Korean BBQ and etc, and this restaurant does a good job ! They don’t offer for the customers to cook the Korean beef, so that makes me a bit sad because I can’t cook the beef to my own liking, however, the beef tasted good. I’ve had better Korean Beef at restaurants like Little Korea or Korea House. The beef is okay since it wasn’t(temperature) hot, more like warm. The Bi Bim Bap was good! However, they only add a couple vegetables and a small portion of beef. Other restaurants top off the bi Bim Bap with more vegetables like bean sprouts, carrots, and cucumbers ! However, everything still tasted good! The sides such as the different kimchi and fish cakes were good as we are the entrees. To conclude, this restaurant is good and enjoyable, however, I’ve had better, but definitely stop by this restaurant if you’re craving some Korean food! Definitely recommended.

I have been to a few Korean restaurants, and even though this place is a little different from the traditional«cook your own meat» Korean restaurant, the food is absolutely GREAT! This place really knows how to make your spice level go up because if you ask for spicy… They will make it spicy! But you can also choose mild or normal flavor. When my family and I came in, we were instantly greeted by the owner and she told us what was the most popular dishes. We ordered the Korean ribs, Beef, Spicy tofu soup, Chap Jae noodles, and a Bibimbop Bowl Aside from the delicious food, I have got to say that the unlimited small side dishes are very good! It tastes very authentic, so nothing packaged or from the can! This place is very hard to find because it’s in a corner spot of the complex and the sign outside is not very flashy. However I can rest you assured, this place is so good! I will definitely come back and I recommend this place!

I always leave this place feeling fat but it looks like the owner’s son beat me to it. Best Korean food in town.

This is one of my favorite korean restaurants! The staff is very helpful in explaining dishes if unfamiliar with korean food. The restaurant itself is located right outside of Keesler AFB so you will see lots of military people dining here especially for lunch. The décor is nice with authentic korean outfits displayed on the wall and nice wooden tables throughout the intimate dining room. If you love galbee then you will definitely be satisfied here. The galbee is perfect. Marinated and grilled to perfection. My favorite dish here and my top spot for galbee! Some other excellent options are the steamed dumplings, the bul go gi(sauteed beef, pork, or chicken), and their hot and sour soup. If you like kimchee they have really great kimchee too. Prices range from about $ 8 for apps to $ 13 – 16 for most entrees. Their lunch menu(while very limited) is quite awesome with some of their most popular dishes at very affordable prices…$ 5 or $ 6. Very authentic korean food. I love R&C :)

This place is very authentic! Their B-Bim Bop is slightly different than what I’m familiar with but is quite close. We will absolutely go back again. It is also listed on Unilocal as «RC Korean Restaurant»

R&C had me at Dumpling. Atmosphere This place is pretty small(less than 15 – 20 tables it seems). Sorry, there’s no TV, but it’s not like it needs one. The food is pretty entertaining already. It feels pretty homey here, like I’m eating in someone’s expanded dining room. Korean posters and knick knacks cover the walls, which gives R&C an even more authentic feel. =========== Food The steamed dumplings are the best I’ve ever had. Ok, the dumplings themselves were pretty good, but the sauce was what made it 5⁄5. Not only was it a little spicy, there was a touch of citrus. YUM! I couldn’t stop eating it. Thank goodness like 12 comes in every order. Korean pancakes were pretty awesome, but watch out, they break your chopsticks(it happened to 2 people in my group lol). It’s pretty fluffy and crunchy and packed with seafood, so if you don’t like seafood, don’t order it. The ribs were phenomenal(4⁄5), but a little on the tough side. Say yes to the sauce! The stir fried clear noodles were also pretty yummy(4⁄5). I really love the side dish with the pickled cucumbers though(or maybe it’s zucchini?). Almost everything had the same type of sauce, so after a while, it gets kind of old… The portions here are pretty big too, so try not to order too much in the beginning. =========== Service Our server was so sweet and very helpful! She asked us what we liked and what we’ve had before, then provided her suggestions. She refilled our drinks promptly, and gave us things before we even asked for it(knives, napkins, water). That is good service, my dear friends. There was nothing we didn’t like. =========== Why 5 Stars I don’t always eat Korean food, but when I do, I eat at R&C.
