The Irish Sitter

Cathy and Sean are AWESOME! I came to Keesler AFB for school and took my puppy with me thinking that I could have him stay with me at lodging on base. I was wrong… so I scrambled and called a few people to see if they knew anyone who would help dog sit for me for the next two months. I was given Cathy’s number and she immediately set a time a date to meet me and my puppy, Roscoe. Two days later, I was able to give Roscoe a temporary and loving home! Her dogs are all very playful and helped socialize my puppy, and they soon became the best of friends. Cathy gave him walks, took him to the local dog park, fed him healthy puppy food, and treated Roscoe as her own! She was also very flexible about letting me drop off/​pick up Roscoe whenever something came up. I felt very confident that my puppy was in good hands and it felt like family everytime I came their house. THANK YOU again so much! I could not have focused on school without your care for Roscoe!

The guys are GREAT!
We are from Colorado, and wanted to drive down to MS to visit family. We decided to bring our 3 dogs with us, as the boarding costs here in CO for 3 dogs was close to $ 100/​day.
Once we arrived in MS, we decided to look up a local dog sitting service so we could have some free time with our family.
We were SO happy to have found «The Irish Dog Sitters»!! Even though this is not a ‘dedicated’ dog boarding facility, we felt very comfortable with how the services/​facility was set up. Its actually a nice home with a huge fenced yard in the back. It also had a large doggy door for the dogs to go inside and cool off.
They have five dogs themselves all under 20lbs. Our 2 big dogs got along great with their five! The owners also had ample space for the dogs to enjoy the outside, including shade spots, water, and fun activities.
The owners semed to have lots of knowledge for a wide variety of dogs. They also were a short driving distance from the vet clinic, which was a plus!
