I got three words for you: huckleberry pie, cherry pie, and strawberry rhubarb pie. Okay that was 8 words. Absolutely the undisputed king of homemade fresh pies in the Pacific Northwest. Only one rival down south and you gotta drive 700 miles to get there… so don’t waste another minute. Hit Dickey’s pies and pastries on your way to or from the bridge that connects WA and OR via HR. Gives new meaning to the phrase: it’s all good in the hood!

I LOVE the ladies at Dickey’s! They are delightful! I love shopping here. It’s not a big«grocery» type place; it’s more like a beefed-up farmer’s stand. Best eggs, meat, cheese in town and all local. Excellent fresh pies. Excellent wine selection. Excellent pet food/toys/beds selection(at great prices.) A must-see if you are anywhere in the area. Special note: there is a stand-alone coffee stand across the street from Dickey’s. The BEST huckleberry shakes INTHEWORLD are there. Seriously. Even better than the shakes in Montana fresh off huckleberry season.(Great lattes and everything else, too.) The owner/operator is gorgeous and a sweetheart. Stop by, get a shake, and thank me later.
