Beautifully designed interior provides a great space for a tasty lunch. Vibrant colors and delicious baked goods. Reasonable pricing. I’ll continue to eat here again and again.

I’ve only been there once and picked up some items at the bakery. I haven’t had a meal there, but have heard and read great things. I can only review the items I’ve had from the bakery. Being a spoiled Italian with a mother who was a great baker and someone who has had the best there is to offer in bakeries in NYC and Las Vegas, I can say that the baked goods I’ve had at Chroma were good. I wasn’t ‘wowed’ by any one particular item we got. The cupcakes were ok as were the cookie sandwiches. They do have a great variety of items to choose from, so you’ll never be at a loss for a good selection. I will have a meal there soon and will post a review then!!!

Excellent bakery with a cool vibe, friendly staff and great food. Although a little on the expensive side, still a great place to visit periodically and will return

Wow. This place is fantastic! The owner is very nice and makes great great food. I went in looking for a regular muffin or cookie and figured it wouldn’t be that great but I would give it a try. I was wrong. There food and baked goods are amazing and are priced very very well. Must try their chocolate banana muffin or any of their sandwiches.

Amazing brunch! I had a breakfast burrito with goat cheese, chicken and broccoli and loved it. Clearly a lot of baked goods to choose from also but we were to full from our meal to try.

This bakery is highly overrated. Pastries were average and poor customer service. I would recommend Old Barn Hollow over this.

Ok so I was up in Binghamton for work. I live down on Long Island. After going from closed deli to closed deli I have come to the conclusion nobody in Binghamton eats during the week before 8am. So I come upon this place and ask if they can make sausage egg and cheese on a roll. After being offered every type of bread except a roll I decided on the panini bread. Bam, that bread was awesome. Had some kind of herbs in it. The sausage, not even close to the usual sausage patty. It was more like somebody took a real Italian sausage link added more herbs and mashed it into a rather large delicious patty.

Each and every one of Chroma’s scones melt in your mouth and then do a happy dance on your taste buds. Don’t forget about the delicious blueberry coffee cake. Oh, and since the cheese danishes are staring at you right in the face, might as well! Go big or go home. Now if you’re trying to pick something off the menu, go for the roast beef panini, forever my favorite. Thank you Chroma for being the gem that holds my sanity together while I’m trying to finish my degree here in Binghamton. On top of that, everyone who works there is the sweetest!

They are always friendly and the day old sweet treats are great if you are on a budget like I am.

I still love Chroma! But I have a slight gripe about their salads I wanted to update with. If you ever order your food for say a lunch pick up, make sure you double check your order before you leave. At least half the time I do this, they either forget the dressing, or get it wrong. So for an almost $ 10 salad, I want it to be perfect! Also, since they’re a bakery with delicious breads, they should totally add homemade croutons!

The ambiance looked warm, cozy. Perfect lighting and that nice hometown feel. I tried the Frittata and a Brandy Alexander cheesecake bar. I admit I was skeptical about pasta in a food item similar to a quiche at first, but thought it was fantastic, great texture and flavors from the ham. The cheesecake and Brandy flavors in the dessert were evident yet not overpowering, and a nice compliment to its creaminess. The gentleman that served me was friendly and warmed up my Frittata for me, and even directed me to the utensils and condiments. He was very warm and had that a smile on his face and voice. I also didn’t have to wait at all, service was pretty fast. Great service and food. Definitely returning!

Never had a bad experience here. Great selection of baked goods and every day they have different specials. The atmosphere is warm and inviting too. They even have vegetarian options.

One word OVERHYPED. This place is nothing too special I cam here a few months ago and got a fritata a burrito and some baked french toast. The pasta at the bottom of the fritata was burned and the French Toast was nothing special with melted caramel over it. The burrito was soggy and the cookies were nothing special. I would highly recommend subway cookies over these. Would not recommend to a friend.

Although they didn’t have any gluten-free baked goods when we were there on a Monday morning, the g/f Frittata was awesome! Just make sure you feed the meters out front. Just sayin’.

So I was having a customer get together out of town and someone suggested Chroma Bakery. I looked at the menu and it looked great. So I called and talked to the owner. This was a great experience Nancy helped me out and we put together for our event. The day of my event she called me to set up the time for pick up or she could put them back into the refrig. Then the food came. It was OUTOFTHISWORLD! The Banh Mi and Cuban were one of a kind. I have never had a sandwich like these two before. The deserts were fresh and delicious. It is a must stop next time in town. The only thing I would change is to allow access to the menu on Unilocal. It is on Facebook but our company does not allow you to open Facebook on their computer

Delightful breakfast spot frequented by regulars and visitors alike. Coffee is nice, but come for the baked goods and breakfast fare. Frittatas change daily, but today’s asparagus and Swiss did not disappoint. Laden with pasta, and morsels of asparagus and onion, bound by light cheesy eggy goodness. French toast muffin was heavenly. So light and fluffy with ribbons of cinnamon. Waffle sandwich with generous serving of bacon jam slathered beneath egg and sausage nestled between two fluffy sweet waffles. Service is friendly and welcoming.

Unfortunately, I have to send out the warning, do not get the chicken. It is very rubbery and lacks flavor. The outside may appear grilled and smell great, but one bite in, you’ll be leaving the chicken on your plate hoping the handfuls of bread you have left will hold you over until dinner. Very disappointed. Their other sandwiches are ok, but I’d appreciate a little more consistency.

What a cute little bakery situated in downtown Binghamton. I was in town for the holidays and and always on the lookout for places with gluten free options when I travel. Chroma is a sweet little place that serves breakfast and lunch and has a plethora of yummy looking baked goods. They offer a wide variety of soups, salads and sandwiches. They have someone who bakes gluten free bread and other goodies for them and brings it in to the bakery. I had a Cuban sandwich on gluten free focaccia bread(which I have not had since I’ve been gluten free so it was an awesome treat) and a gluten free buckeye brownie(with peanut butter). My mouth is watering right now thinking about that brownie. It was a Wednesday and I paid for the groups lunch so we got four free cookies(one for every $ 6 we spent). It doesn’t apply to GF but my dining companions got a treat! There is a special like that every day. Chroma also posts their specials on Facebook every day so you can see what they have before you go. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in town!
