I love this place. Quirky but unique. Menu is delicious and inventive. The Steg is tender and very very good. It is a repeat event for me. The bar tender [Jessie] is a true mixologist. Overall a good time over and over. The Sunday brunch is excellent.

This was my first time to the Loft since it changed owners. The atmosphere and overall vibe is cozy yet modern, and the food was delicious from start to finish. First, I was extremely pleased that the bartender knew how to make a proper Negroni, which to me means serving it stirred and up with a twist of orange peel. I ordered the pumpkin soup as an appetizer, which I am assuming is a seasonal offering, and it was amazing. Steaming hot(which is soooo important to me), creamy, and perfectly seasoned. For my entrée, I had the small plate of confit chicken leg and a side dish of the crispy wild mushrooms. The chicken was crispy and mouth wateringly tender and moist; the polenta(served underneath) was the perfect consistency; velvety smooth and creamy. The crispy mushrooms, which almost had a bacon quality from being pan seared, were such a nice addition to the chicken and polenta. Overall, I would definitely recommend and return to the Loft at 99.
