Best ice cream I’ve ever had — hands down. It’s all home-made, and everything I have had there is great(I think their Lemon/Vanilla Twist is the best, personally) We moved out of town last year and I miss this place dearly. I may come back partly just to have some awesome Pop’s ice cream. Go there — it will not disappoint(be sure to bring cash)

I came here recently and really enjoyed my ice cream! I came in for soft serve but almost got swayed by the gelato. They looked really good, so I tried the marscapone which sounded really interesting. It tasted like a really rich cheesecake. I liked it but didn’t want to commit to a whole dish. I ended up with a raspberry and vanilla twist and it was very good! There are some downsides, which made me give a 4. I went there with the intention of getting their creamsicle flavor, which was on their Facebook page and signage in the store as the flavor of the week. Turns out they had swapped it for the raspberry and didn’t update it. Darn, I really wanted to try that one. Also, I was with two other people who got the same as me, but they got theirs in a sugar cone vs the regular cone. My serving was way bigger than theirs(not that that’s a bad thing!) but it was noticeable enough. The other downside is that the place itself has a really cool vibe, but there is no shady spots to sit outside. Lots of bench seating around the porch, but an awning or umbrella table would make it much nicer on these 90 degree days. So the food is a 5, but some little issues brought it down. I’ll be back and hope to bump up my score!

Best place in town to get icecream! These guys know what they’re doing! I’m a big fan of the butter pecan. The soft serve is also great

this place is great, some of the best ice cream in the area, way better than the humdinger! their hard ice cream flavors change every so often, but everything i’ve had here has been good. raspberry cheesecake ice cream, both vanilla and chocolate peanut butter cup, chocolate covered cherry ice cream, and others i can’t remember have all been great, and it’s all homemade! their soft serve is really good as well, nice and creamy! the chocolate/vanilla twist is a must have classic, but they also have a special flavor of the week every week. i’ve only had the creamsicle flavor but it was really good, and the other ones they have all look good as well(raspberry, lemon, peanut butter, mmm). they make their own fudge too but i have yet to try it, but i’m sure it’s great. the ambiance is great here too, a nice 50’s vibe, and they have a really cool bass guitar hangin on one of the walls, and i’ve never had bad service here. if you love ice cream, do yourself a favor and stop in here, you won’t regret it. ***September update*** i’m taking a star off the review because some of the soft serve flavors that i ended up trying later on we a bit lacking. i got real excited to try the peanut butter soft serve and the watermelon soft serve. they really put the«water» in watermelon because that one was flavorless. the peanut butter one was ok but again needed more flavoring. still pretty good ice cream overall though, i will definitely be back next season
