I called to see if they had Cards Against Humanity. The lady answered once I got through the automated part and was friendly and personable. She forwarded me right to the Toy Department where Mike went and checked to see if they had the game. Unfortunately, they did not, but they were very proficient at getting me an answer.

I like this store. Growing up in Michigan, Meijer’s always had good prices. They are like a super store. They sell food, clothing etc. Similar to Fred Meyers(Freddie’s) in Oregon where I live now. But this place has better prices than the Freddie’s in Oregon and a much better selection. This store has been here about 6 years? It’s the closest Meijer’s to where my Dad lives. He lives in Vassar out in the boonies. I was so happy when I first discovered this store so near to my folks house because I could run here and get just about anything I needed while visiting instead of driving forever.(Think koegels viennas and pickled bologna since I can’t get that in Oregon) I have been here late at night to get medicine, been in the middle of the day to pick up supplies and in the evening. The parking is always easy and the people that work here are always helpful. Store is clean and well maintained.

Alright, probably nobody I know is gonna read this review. As it’s 1) basically a superstore and 2) located in Michigan. Being someone from Toronto, Canada, this isn’t likely to be read by any of my current friends, fans, families, or even enemies: P But I’m gonna write anyway, as I love this place. Anyway, my family has made somewhat of a habit of visiting Birch Run/Frankenmuth for many years now, I think we have made something like 5 visits in the last 10 years or so. I’ve also been here with my fiancée, and one thing is common to all these visits: we always stop by Meijer. For me, it’s everything that I wish Wal-Mart in Canada could be. Bright, open, spacious, friendly and knowledgeable staff, late night shopping fun, AND ridiculously low prices(at least compared to Canadian prices). I remember stopping by one visit when the whole family wasn’t well and we ended up buying a whole bunch of delicious microwave dinners and soup from here. Good times. And I love late-night shopping. There’s something about the peace and quiet of it all that appeals to me. My parents even got a coffee maker once from here. They really have everything. Even when I took my fiancée to Birch Run/Frankenmuth, she said that her favourite place to go in the area was… you guessed it: here. So now everytime we go to the area, we’ll definitely stop by and stock up on stuff. People go cross-border shopping in the Prime Outlet of Birch Run, I do most of mine at Meijer. Love it.

This is absolutely the goofiest layout of a Meijer ever. Actually, of any store. Sure, they have everything. But the food department is on 2 separate sides of the store.
