Ew! My son’s chicken nuggets were soggy i mean he couldn’t even eat them. My salad was disgusting. My husband said his burger was flavorless. I would never go back. Service was SOSLOW! at one point we looked around and didn’t see 1 waiter or waitress.

Need to update my last review, as stated our experience was less than perfect but the follow up and response I recieved from the business because of my review was nothing short of excellent. Everyone has a bad experience every now again, what’s important is how it is handled and it shows that they truly are professional and do in fact care about the quality of their food and good customer service. I was wrong to judge otherwise in my first review, bravo!

Every year my family makes the annual trek to Birch Run for Deer Widows Weekend. We always eat at Pizza Uno, so there are been several meals of my life where I have eaten nothing but this for four days. And honestly there would be a lot worse places to eat in general, let alone that long. During this highly busy weekend the staff is still always incredibly sweet! They seem to take the steep influx in customers in stride. Some workers remember us from year to year. Paul the manager is always very friendly. Their pizza is, of course, excellent. The crust is fantastic and they have a good variety of topping styles. I really love the turkey avocado sandwich. The toasted bread and the creaminess of the avocado on a cold day of shopping outside is awesome. Their pastas and salads are great as well. The variety plate appetizer is incredible and sometimes one of my cousins and I will just split that. The ribs are ridiculously good, epically the sauce! Some kind of whiskey thing… So good! The bartenders are friendly and very efficient. They always play Red Wings games which is a big plus as well. I look forward to eating here every year when we go. I’m sure that if they can maintain their quality on a highly busy weekend they would be good all year round!

Poor quality of salads. We got the wild mushroom and aged cheddar flatbread pizza. Just ok. Deceiving because it was loaded with chopped garlic. I love garlic so I was okay with it. but it wasn’t marketed that way.

Ordered pizza for take out and it was as good as I expected it to be. The service was quick and the pizza was delicious!

Their menu is extensive and having been there many times, I have never gotten something I didn’t like. Friendly and helpful staff makes it an awesome place to eat!

Nice restaurant, but service was terrible. Waitress did not listen and did not come back to check on us. Food took forever and my wife’s «well done» steak was more like medium. Only got 3 stars because another member of the party got management involved and she went over the top to make it right. I would go back just based on management’s response.

This chain restaurant was my first introduction to deep dish pizza, and as such will always hold a special place in my heart(whose arteries may be getting slowly clogged as we speak thanks to said dish). I ate here once many moons ago during one of my family’s annual forays to Frankenmuth, and on my most recent visit we came and visited this place TWICE in two nights. My family are notoriously… parsimonious, shall we say, when it comes to food prices. I still get dirty stares from my parents if I order soup in a restaurant that costs anything above $ 2, as if I have brought shame into the entire family tree. But THIS place, this is one place we can all get on board with. Any two dishes for $ 12? One can only dream of such prices in Canada. The menu selection in this special promotion offer is pretty darn good too. Multiple salads and several pizzas, along with multiple pasta options. I had both the Chicago UNO and the pepperoni deep dish pizza, and they were heavenly. It was tasty, rich, full of gooey cheese, and that CRUSTOHMYGODOHMYDAYAM. Even if that special promo is not on, you can still get two dishes(one of them being a salad, unfortunately) for around 8 bucks for lunch. Again, much better value than anything north of the border. This is the only location I’ve been to, and it’s a very pleasant one. Located right by the Birch Run Premium Outlet, thereby ensuring maximum cholesterol overload after your wallet is bled dry, this location has very friendly and warm servers who are very helpful explaining to this easily-confused Chinese family the various permutations that you can get in this establishment. The environment is simple and pleasant too, and we always have a good time here. Also, usually not TOO crowded, another good plus. Drinks-wise, we love the mango iced tea :) Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to *koff* catch my breath a bit *wheeze*

It’s a chain restaurant but it’s the ONLY restaurant near/in the Outlet Mall. Be sure to check out the«pick 2» dinner menu. I was able to pick a salad and personal pan deep dish pizza for under $ 10! It was a steal.

Got a deep dish pizza and the crust was just delish. We actually got to meet the manager because they messed up our order and she was really apologetic. I don’t really expect everyone to be perfect, but I loved how she let us know she was going to take care of it and she did :).

LOVE Uno! Their deep dish pizza crust is the«BEST» ever! This is ALWAYS our Birch Run/Frankenmuth go to restaurant. Got the shroom pizza on my first visit & it was sooo good, that I have never ordered anything else. It is no longer on the menu, but is usually available upon request. Their chocolate chip skillet cookie is also«GREAT!» Service is usually pretty good. GOOO!

Great food, awesome pizza and salads. A large selection of lunches and dinners to choose from. Pizza is great to heat up the next day, so get a big one! We like coming here while at Birch Run or back from a trip up north. Lots of space for parking if you’re towing an RV.

This place has great food and service even though it is in a mega shopping area. I have stopped in several times over the past three years and they have the same bartenders. That says something.

Uno’s is a really cool place. The food is good and you get nice portions with just about anything on the menu. Nice restaurant to bring your family and you have different things to choose from on the menu for picky eaters. I’m a fan

This place was decidedly ok. No great. Not awful. But definitely the best of your available options surrounding Birch Run. Bypassing the pizza, I ordered the chicken spinoccoli. It’s a chicken breast stuffed with feta, mozzarella, broccoli, spinach, tomatoes, garlic and basil. The flavors were good, but the chicken was overcooked and dry. This isn’t rocket science — it’s a ^%$#@! chicken breast! The servie was decidedly ok as well. The waitress was friendly, but forgetful. I think I asked her three times for a glass of water before it finally arrived. Would I go back? Only if it remains the best of the otherwise lousy options around Birch Run.

Of all the eateries in the Birch Run/Frankenmuth area this one may be the least offensive. Mostly because I never REALLY met a slice of a pizza I didn’t like. Even bad pizza is still pizza! It’s middle of the road, chain fare but it’s not terrible as long as you go with the pizza(can’t speak for anything else on the menu). It’s deep dish but it doesn’t quite live up to the the spots in Chicago(despite being named after one of the most famous joints there) but it’s a thick crust with plenty of cheese and toppings. I lived in Chicago off and on for a few years and became very attached to Lou Malnati’s and this doesn’t hold a candle. But it does fulfill my need for a fork full of cheese! A personal sized pizza is more than enough for 2 meals as well. The wait during a busy shopping day can be a bit long but that’ll be the case most anywhere you go in the area, even Applebees. Inside it’s like any chain restaurant. Nothing fancy but it’s relatively clean and the waitstaff are friendly enough. Prices are a bit steep for a chain but if you go with a few folks and split a pizza you won’t break your wallet.

I thought this place was A-ok! I got the vegetarian pizza and added some chicken! I love lots of veggies on my pizza but still want a little meat thrown in the mix. The kids loved making their own pizza and wearing the little plastic aprons they were given. Decent service, tasty pizza, would go here again if I am near one!

I’ve been here twice now, and though both times were because our friends and Husband’s colleagues wanted to eat here, the experiences have been enjoyable. Conveniently located in the Birch Run Premium Outlets wing closest to Polo Ralph Lauren, this place is easy to find. There is ample parking, and great for groups. They have a bar seating area and a dining room area; both a good size. Husband and I like their Fish and Chips($ 11.99) and Roasted Eggplant with Spinach and Feta thin crust pizza($ 10.49). Each time, the food has been consistent. The Fish and Chips come with a reddish tartar sauce that I’ve never personally tried because I’m not much of a tartar sauce person, but the piece of haddock is a decent portion; not mindblowing huge. Probably enough for one person if you’re not super hungry. Though pales in comparison to our recent Canadian experience, it’s fresh, hot, and not super super greasy. The fries are mediocre at best because they don’t taste freshly fried. The pizza is a great value, and the crust is well seasoned. They have an option for a nine-grain crust or a traditional, and each time, we’ve ordered the nine-grain and it tastes wonderful with the toppings of the eggplant, sundried tomatoes, and spinach. Feta cheese is lightly topped and never overpowering, so kudos to the people who make the pizzas. Only thing that I’m not a fan of? It’s never piping hot, and I like my pizzas hot! However, for the $ 10.49 price tag, 2 people can enjoy 4 – 5 slices each and be full, or eat 1 – 2 and take the rest home as leftovers. Yay for the veggies! Friends have ordered their rattlesnake pasta, salmon with rice and breadstick entrée, and deep dish pizza, and I’d say their pasta and thin crust pizzas are definitely their forte. In fact, on a recent trip, a friend ordered their deep dish with chicken alfredo and it looked like a nightmare. Small in size, and it looked like a bunch of cheese and cream just tossed into a pan. No pizza crust in sight! Yikes! Service is a hit or miss, depending on who you get. If you are part of their monthly club, you get some great cash incentives and coupons. They even have monthly tastings for new food combinations they are experimenting with that are free for club members. Haven’t been here for happy hour, but Husband and colleagues have thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and 50% discount on drinks and some apps isn’t bad right? ;) All in all, a satisfying place if you are either outlet shopping with family and friends or driving north or south on the I-75 and don’t want to resort to the fast food joint. Just stick with the pasta dishes and thin crust pizzas and you will have a good time.

Meh. Especially for the price. If you dine here, stick to the pizza. We came up here on the spur of the moment to shop so we were not necessarily in the mood for pizza. Ok I was not in the mood for pizza, my husband can always eat pizza but he hates individual deep dish as it’s just too much crust and too little toppings. So it’s my fault we weren’t happy here. I went with a special. Chimichurri cap steak. Ordered medium rare, delivered medium. It was not horrible and we were not in any mood to wait so I kept it. Besides in the back section we were in every other table got a freebie and the manager? was running around apologizing to all and sundry as well as strongarming an idle bartender to get off her ass and help the waitstaff. This manager definitely needed a anti anxiety med, she was none too subtle about her frazzled state to everyone she encountered. As we were leaving staff was flocking to her asking what they could do for her and she was saying quite loudly to pick things up as they come up in the windows. Based on what I observed and ate I would say our food sat awhile under the warmers. My steak was overdone, my mashed cauliflower was dried out and not hot and my husband’s pasta was past al dente and the top was dry and cold when delivered. Luckily our paltry portioned salads were at least tasty. Breadsticks were too. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed but was very friendly and made sure to get us refills on pop. I will not be back. Probably not even for pizza, three were complained about for one reason or another near us. Yikes.
