This stop in Birmingham is no longer in use. It has been replaced with a new and modern station which is a short distance down the rail line within the neighboring city of Troy, Michigan. The new Troy Transit Center is located on Doyle Drive, which is accessible from East Maple Road and Coolidge Highway.

This can’t even really be called a station, it’s like a drop-off/pick-up point. We arrived on time today, too, and my friend missed her train(granted, maybe we should have been earlier — bad combination of traffic and red lights). It’s next to a condo community and you can’t park there but there are some street lights. You basically take Eton St. to Villa St. to the end and it’s there. I’m wondering if Royal Oak’s is a «real» station, that might be better for next time. My friend came in from Ann Arbor for the weekend to visit.
