I had no idea this place existed until just a few weeks ago, and when I stepped inside I was blown away. It is a super cozy and comfortable shop to either just relax or get some cycling gear. I do not know about the service, but the shop itself was super neat and most cycling stores have a similar price point. Definitely stop in whenever you are around there.

I called them several times about a trek I was buying online. When I got it, they gave it the works(tune up, wash, etc) at a great deal IMHO! Also, I was able to customize it w racks and was helped enormously via emails and they helped me ordering the perfect rack! Installed it & then spent time explaining the rides for beginners(it’s my first«real» bike) They gave loads of advice that saved me lots of trouble! I asked! Ex. Why a front basket may get in my way! They were right!! also fixed my bike like I had envisioned!(girly)) I was really nervous about this because I am older(50) but wanted to get a great bike to use on road & trail! The owner told me about beginner rides to help me get used to riding in traffic, etc. I haven’t done them but I know where to go! The thing is I hired them to put a bike together that I didn’t buy there, so it’s not like I spent a fortune– still I was given tons of help and encouragement! Quite honestly, the next bike I buy will be from them. There is a nice neighborhood«feel» when you go in, you can see they all love what they do! No pushy salesmen, etc! I can see how it might feel«exclusive» bc the owners know all the people coming in, but to me this added integrity! They must be great or these guys wouldn’t keep using them exclusively!(I won’t use anyone else now!) excellent service and they love to share info esp if you’re a newbie! I’m outgoing so I walked up and said«I don’t know what I’m doing, don’t remember how to change gears(!!!) that was embarrassing concern– changing gears!)this guy took me outside and actually showed me sweetly how they worked! How nice is that! If they offered a class for beginners I’d sign up! I HIGHLY recommend them, they were anything but bike snobs to this newbie! Alison

My experience at this shop was pretty bad. I can’t speak for all of the employees but the man that I dealt with was very rude and chose to look down his nose at me the whole time I was trying to do business with him. In fact he was so rude that I ended up walking out of their shop and calling around town for 20 min to find the item I was looking for. If you are interested in buying a Garmin watch don’t waste your time here go to the north face at the summit they are cheaper and the people are much more pleasant.

Highly recommended. Was visiting from out of town and needed a high-quality mtb. A friend suggested Mike at BBC, and boy, was I pleased! Excellent service, great bike, quality owner. Really committed to the community and the sport.

I’m surprised there are no reviews, but I have been very happy with my experiences at the shop. They are very supportive of the local riding community and organize weekly rides in the summer(maybe more often as I am a casual rider rather than a serious one, i.e., I’m slow!) The shop sells brands that you may or may not be familiar with but which all seem very well-made. Prices are okay, but with bicycles you will usually get what you pay for. What I really appreciate is having a bicycle repair shop within a mile of my house. They are in a residential neighborhood, so it’s easy to get to on your bike(or in a car, if you must). When a little girl crashed her bike into my son’s and knocked his dérailleur off, I feared it would be an expensive fix, but BBC repaired it for under $ 30, including tax and labor.
