I dread the dentist to the point of phobia. I was in town recently and shattered a tooth, requiring immediate surgery. This office worked me in, and worked with me. I can honestly say this is the best (if there is such a thing) dental experience I have ever had. Staff is professional, office is spotless and Dr. Buck actually listens to you! Plus they cater to cowards. If I ever need another oral surgeon I sure hope I’m close to Birmingham!

Don’t know if it’s as good as it gets, but I was very happy with the service. I had a wisdom tooth come in sideways, and after 2 decades finally had to have it removed. Dr. Buck tried as he might to convince me to have general anesthesia to do it, but for a variety of reason, I opted for local anesthetic. He had to drill into the bone and break the tooth up into pieces, and he was very fast and I felt nothing at all. I think he gave me the worst case scenario in both the extraction and recovery time, but major pain was gone in a day and bad swelling only lasted 2 days, so I was satisfied with the result. He also asked that I return in a week for a follow up, no problems and no charge. I thought he way overplayed the pain aspect, but then again, maybe I am tougher than I look ;)
